What was the diagnose on the engine failure? Dropped ex valve?

A valve dropped into the number 6 cylinder, which cracked the piston, which destroyed the sleeve and the block.

I thought ZL1 PRDECESSOR 1ST TO 3RD GEN THERES AZ28 ESPECIALLY 95 MODEL Z28 IROC.

The Z28 has been reserved for the naturally aspirated Camaros with upgraded suspensions. The ZL1 1LE wasn't named Z28 due to the LT4 engine's supercharger. There were rumors that GM was considering a Z28 6th gen Camaro, but it obviously never went anywhere.
