This was a freaking cute reaction. I'm new to y'all and just saw the vid in my recommendations. I just also happen to be Filipino/Canadian and love me some Tamia LOL especially this song. I don't know how to blurt this out and still sounds humble, but, Philippines is the melting pot of Asia. We got diversity in our looks. We have Latina beauties, we have Caucasians, Africans, of course Asians in our blood. And when it comes to music, we are like chameleons when it comes to sounds. When we do RNB, Soul, Rap, Hip-hop, we do those like Blacks with authority, when we do Jazz, we do it like the old grand American Jazz musicians do. You got divas and belters? We have divas and belters too. When we do Chorale music, we are at par with the Europeans and when we do Rock music wether it be heavy metal, alternative, acid, death metal, classic rock etc., we do it like the western model, you cannot tell the difference, unless it is in Pilipino language. I think it has to do with years the foreign occupations (Spanish, Americans) that we've gone through. Hey, if you love RnB and Soul that much, you should check the Soul Sessions in ASAP too.
