Same thing happened to me...after 6 years of trying out one shampoo after another and severe hair loss.. just had a pixie 2 weeks ago..I'm gonna try this and pray I get me a full head of hair again...

@@morgangates9345 yeahh that's true, once you have a baby... All your pain and worry would vanish because of your sweet one💕😄 ( English is not my first language, I hope you understand)
I just gave birth three months ago had this issue my hair grew so long and thick and now I’m seeing this much hair loss and it’s truly scary. I can feel thin spot all over definitely going to try this.
Recipe~ ▪ Add 2 rosemary and a few sprigs of mint or peppermint to half a pot of water ▪ Boil for 20 to 30 min ▪ Drain and add cap full of apple cider vinegar ▪ Store on a spray bottle ▪ Can be stored a week in fridge *Spray on hair twice a day.
Would you please provide an actual measure for the amount of water? "Half a pot" could vary a lot, based on the size of the pot, and would make a difference in the amount of vinegar to be added. Thanks!
I’m not pregnant but I have vitamin d and iorn deficiency which made my hair dry and brittle so it started thinning out but I started taking iron, vitamin d, biotin, and collagen and it’s a lot healthier now!
I improved my hair by doing all these things: Having more and more Vitamin C in form of orange, lemon, and kiwi, 8 hours of adequate sleep everyday, consume nuts such as almonds, walnuts, or peanuts in limited, you can also have fishes like sardines, salmon. Exercise a minimum of 20 - 30 mins daily. Using organic shampoo, oil, neem wooden comb, scalp massager by liitleextra coconion two times a week. All this is good for hair fall control.
When you're pregnant your hair stops shedding, so it looks thicker and fuller. After birth the cycle starts up again and you shed a lot at once so it can look bad. But usually it will start growing again anyway, unless something else is going on such as stress, trauma, other medical conditions, lack of nutrition etc. Try not to worry until you've given it some time and checked out basic stuff to sort it
Thank you for this. I had a huge hair loss during my postpartum, felt like it caused even more stress and nobody was really there to tell me it'll get better so,it was really hard for me.
You don’t know what you are talking about. I know women that lost teeth with each child and o went bald. She had a bald spot on her head and that’s not just shedding and it thickens up again. I have 2 kids and soared of all that but I don’t disrespect women and down talk it that girl or went through such thinks .
You don't spray it on your hair, you spray it on your scalp and slowly massage it in.. both rosemary and mint plus the massage will stimulate blood flow and encourage hair follicles to wake up and grow strong (rosemary and mint essential oils also work, few drops in a spray bottle) and don't forget to massage it in ♡
@@aurora7908 No, you leave it in as long as possible but aside from the rosemary smell it's not that bad.. just do this before bed, it'll be faded by morning (or spritz your hair with perfume)
@@trying_not_to_be_a_rock It depends how you do it.. if you use the "spray in the air and walk in it" or put it on your wrists and then tap it on your hair when dried, all the alcohol evaporates too quickly to damage the hair.. alcohol is very volatile so as long as you don't spray perfume diresctly on your head you're fine
yeah and the loss of all the nutrients and your blood volume coming back down and your body using all the mutrients you are gettinf to feed baby and heal so its not focusing on things like hair. so best thing you can do is get blood test as soon as your able and get all your levels checked and take breastfeeding safe supplements for what isnt high and then make sure all your meals are relaly nourishing or at least have a really rich healthy bone broth chicken soup that is your one solid meal a day so even if you dont eat well for other things or enough food youll have a bg pot of soup you can constantly have even as a drink while breastfeeding.
About 3mo postpartum breastfeeding mama's start to shed. Inbetween months 3-6 you loose all your hair follicles that stayed intact during pregnancy due to a drop in your progesterone levels. You're not necessarily shedding _more_ than normal but you *are* shedding 9-10mo of pregnancy hair growth in about 3mo. Which is overwhelming. This is not what's being shown in the video. The girl in question has a receding hairline, balding, and thinning. Which is unfortunately genetics or a rampaging thyroid issue. Normal PP hair loss would not present with balding.
Post partum hair loss is just telogen effluvium. Your body goes through a stressor, here you pushed out a baby and your hormones go crazy, so your hair enters the telogen phase and falls out because it is not your body’s priority. It grows back normally if left alone, no remedies are needed at all. Most people see it growing like normal again after a year. “Remedies” are pushed because hair loss products rake in tons of money because people are desperate. They in themselves will not return hair back to normal. Sometimes, TE can be chronic and people can go through phases of massive hair loss and healthy growth their whole life. Sometimes, women can get androgenic alopecia after giving birth, which means permanent hair loss, in that case you need to go to a derm and get treatment, home remedies will not work and it is not curable. Source: I’m pretty much bald and I’ve been though telogen effluvium and I wear wigs because I lost my hair due to androgenic alopecia, triggered by a hormonal imbalance from an IUD and intense body building. If the hair loss looks like huge clumps and you lose it fast, it’s most likely TE. If it is gradual and a slightly larger amount of shed, it could be androgenic alopecia.
I have no idea who this person is, but why do I feel 100% sure this will work just from her serious head nodding, big smiling, winking, pointing and fist pumping!?!?
@@amysue1616 these reaction videos with the constant finger pointing is a bit distracting. I like that they are bringing awareness to certain topics but the moving is a lot. 🙏🏽
I don't understand why the other girl is there to begin with. The original video is enough, no need to add yourself. I guess that's just a different take on reposting something.
I made this and it's great for hair AND skin, but I got scared after finding out the risk of botulism, I didn't want to accidently cross contaminate because even a drop of botulism contaminated oil can be fatal when ingested.
@@poeborae9467 I am talking about rosemary or other herb oil. In water it should be okay. In oil, even though initially the oil is heated thoroughly with the herbs, once it sits it creates a 0 oxygen environment. If any botulism spores are present on the herbs (botulism spores are harmless and are on a lot of foods), then in the 0 oxygen environment they become activated and become toxic.
This stuff really works, even just with the rosemary. The only thing I will say is it does NOT help prevent hair loss what it does is increase hair growth so you will grow a ton of new hair quickly, but the hair that's falling is going to come out regardless. :/ I know from experience.
Really hope this helps! I’ve been struggling a lot with hair loss, and I’m only 22 and have not had any children. It feels like I’ve lost half of my hair in the span of just a few months, and it has affected my confidence sooooo much, I’ve been so desperate for a solution.
I actually think I know why this works. The cider vinegar works as an exfoliant whilst the rosemary and mint are both stimulating. I could be wrong but that’s where my mind went
@@jenniferragan2721 Haha I wish I knew more, I could probably think of other things but these three ingredients seem to be simple enough. The only think lacking would be a hair moisturiser but a good leave in conditioning milk would do the trick with that and a decent oil for the ends. I know this stuff would work but then actually bothering to put it in to action is a whole other thing 😬😆
Any sort of extreme hormone drop or spike can cause hair to fall out. Hair falling out was one of the first signs my mom had that her thyroid was off. If you start losing hair with no underlying cause, it's good to get your hormones and thyroid checked. Obviously if you have a baby it's normal because of all the hormones produced for the birth, but if it happens seemingly out of nowhere, pleased get checked out.
Mine has done that with all four of my kids. It’s awful and my hair is already extremely fine. My last daughter is 2 and my hair is just now coming back 🙏🏻🙌🏻

THIS HELLA WORKS. Well for me at least. I was hella going bald after I gave birth to my twins. I started this remedy @ 8 month postpartum, I’m about to hit 10 month postpartum and I have seen a big difference in my scalp and hair, my husband has too!
@@mominaahmad27 I’ll only use it on wash days. After shampooing and conditioning my hair, I’ll sometimes use whatever was left of the rosemary water that I made (whatever was left that wasn’t able to fit into my spray bottle) and pour it into my scalp and hair (still while being in the shower) then after getting out the shower, I’ll wait until my hair is only a bit wet and spray the rosemary water all over my hair and scalp (also remember to massage into your scalp for a few minutes like 5+ min) I’ll spray this throughout the day, like every 2 hours. But if I were to have a very busy day or lazy day I’ll just spray it after my shower, then another time after having lunch, and lastly before bed
Y’all people need to prepare we in for pregnancy more. My mom didn’t know she should’ve been talking calcium so all her teeth turned really brittle and she ended up getting them all pulled.
If you're curious why this is, the foetus can't create its own calcium to mineralise a skeleton, so the calcium is pulled from the mother's skeleton to give to the baby. All newborns' skeletons are made from their mother's bones. The same process happens in birds to make shells on their eggs. They often eat the shells once the chicks hatch to try and regain some of the calcium.
yes, its the same as chickens laying eggs, thats why they get killled after 2 years, they lay to many eggs that need calcium, but they dont get the calcium so their bones get destroyed, the chickens break or how u call it in english, its pretty interesting.
Same! I lost alot on the sides above my ears, like alot. It goes up to the curves of my scalp just before the crown, BUT i got kinda lucky i guess as it looks like i just shaved it for a punky long mohawk 😅 tried all kinds of stuff for regrowth & no luck yet. Been using rosemary and mint on my hair for AGES. I steep my rosemary for a long time to get the “tea” really dark because I have dark brown hair (gray? What gray? Not a gray hair on my head! 😏)
I used this method for years. When my sister went to school to be aesthetician she told her instructors(she went to an Aveda school) i used this method they tried to tell her I was destroying my hair and would be better with xyz of their products. My sister read the ingredients list for the xyz products and low and behold they were a rosemary and acv hair soak/rinse and a peppermint shampoo and conditioner. Like seriously I'm making my own rinse at home and it's destroying my hair yet your chemical processed same ingredients is better. Yeah no thanks.
Spray bottle Rosemary Apple cider vinegar And mint Let water boil first Add rosemary and mint Boil for 20-30 mins Add a cap full apple cider vinegar Mix it well Spray in your hair twice a day Make a new batch the following week

This is cool I'll have to try it.. MSM is something that's been helping grow my hair especially around the hairline, and my hair also grows much longer
I'd love to try this. But my only concern is smelling of vinegar? I used to use this as a hair rinse years ago, but could always smell it. I guess the Rosemary and Mint hide it? If so, I am on it 😁
Biotin vitamins are the only thing that helped me I'm still dealing with alopecia Remember ladies you're beautiful with or with out hair as long as you're beautiful on the inside it will show outwardly Everyone's story is different, maybe i will try this as well...
This is perfect! I actually just found out my brother's pregnant girlfriend is experiencing hair loss and it's really putting her down so thank you! I'm definitely gonna have her try this!
Be careful if she is still pregnant. Some herbs may not be safe for the pregnancy. Rosemary is a stimulant and so is mint. Also women who are breastfeeding should be careful too. Moderation is key.
This is from the American Academy of Dermatology : Many new moms experience excessive hair shedding after pregnancy. Hair shedding usually peaks about four months after giving birth. By their child’s first birthday, most women regain their normal hair growth. If your hair does not regain its normal fullness after one year, you may want to see a dermatologist. Something else may be causing your hair to fall out. People lose hair for many reasons, and an accurate diagnosis is essential for effective treatment.
Combine with healthy diet, rice water and olive oil on the scalp (infused with a citrus oil if you wanna go for natural highlights), and a decent amount of sunlight.
I was always told it's because we stop taking prenatal pills when we have our babies. My hair was SOOOOO thick and nice during pregnancy, and the same thing happened where I lost a lot of hair. Vitamins also help to gain it back but stimulating the scalp is the best way.
I just love when kind people share. none of this like for part two. for $59.99. you can just have Rapunzel's hair. thank you so much I've been having some issues myself and really don't know what to do. I'm going to try this and I thank you 💓💓
You can try, but it’s a hormonal thing and riding it out is usually what you have to do. Also if you are breastfeeding especially, taking your vitamins !
What worked for me and my dandruff/eczema is but one of those scalp massages, I’m telling you its a game changer. When you shower just use it in the second shampooing

Also, keep on taking your pre-natal vitamins or get some that are formulated for postpartum! Your body needs nourishment and extra support even after that little human is out in the world. Vitamins help, especially when you’re breastfeeding because that takes a lot of energy.
Postpartum my hair fell out. Then a couple of months later it grew back. Hormones do that, so when they are back to kind of normal, then your hair will grow back.

The only thing that’s helped that is going to the ER and getting some steroid shots. Ive lost about 60% of my hair now. And yea, I started collecting them in a ziplock baggy. I could breathe and cause a rainfall of hair. So much so that even my husband has noticed and he doesn’t notice these things. I can’t even grip a pen to write a full sentence before mg wrist cramps up or Mt elbow flairs up or anything. I can’t use my hands anymore. I can’t walk more than 5 mins because mg ankles and feet swell up, my entire body hurts from being “alive”. And no doctors have taken me seriously or cared enough to dig deeper! If it weren’t for my baby, I’d off myself along time ago. It literally hurts to be alive and still have to pull the weight of being a mother while juggling everything else. This is telogen effluvium, normal excessive hair shedding after pregnancy. You don't have to do anything about it. The hair usually starts to grow back completely by the time the baby is 1 year old. Don't stress about it. It's going to grow back without any intervention. So aside from washing your hair as usual, all of this is not necessary. If the thinning bothers you, feel free to use a volumizing shampoo.
After giving birth ur hair sheds a lot and it happens to me too and it grew back I have a lot of baby hairs .. it’s just something that naturally happens after birth and I didn’t use anything so don’t really count on this to grow ur hair maybe just making it healthier
My homemade remedy is taking dry rice and letting it sit in water for 24 hours mix it around a couple of times during that time take the water from the rice mixture put it into your hair and Massaging it around-let it sit. Once you’ve done that 3 times a week. Any dryness sores hair loss will begin to grow and heal. I should’ve patent it but here it is for free you’re welcome
It couldn't hurt to try I do rosemary and mint water and in coconut oil with essential oils for hair growth my hair is so happy and so many 2 inch long hairs growing and if I brush my hair I may have 1 hair come out thats all.
After a baby your body takes awhile to settle. Maybe check your diet? Take some vitamin supplements and review your hair care?. Stress levels, hormones, poor diet, hair care , menopause can affect hair loss.
Low functioning Thyroid could contribute. Get Thyroid testing and explore high fat/ protein diet like Carnivore or Keto. Research Iodoral brand Iodine. You'll also need to take 300 mg of Selenium for absorption.
I don’t think so I’m thinking maybe you’re lacking nutrients such as iron , cooper, b vitamins. So you need to take a once a day tablet for women multivitamin ( do not use a gummy ) and also you need to eat more lean meats, veggies, fruits and whole grains. Your body needs proteins for your hair so eat a lot of protein.
My hair didn’t fall out until after I stopped breastfeeding 😩. So I was 15 months postpartum. It was a rough few month! I did castor oil with a few drops of peppermint and rosemary. I definitely want to try the recipe in the video.
The reason post partum temporary hairloss isn't medically treated, is because it's caused by the dip in estrogen that happens after pregnancy and usually goes back to normal when your estrogen levels eventually do. You can use herbal remedies if you want(just make sure they don't clash with any meds you're taking), but it's not going to affect the process of your hormone levels going back to normal. If leafy mint water is what helps you hang in there, by all means, treat yourself.
