The PGA TOUR returns to Austin Country Club with a 64-player field now set for the World Golf Championships-Dell Technologies Match Play. Eight of the world’s top-nine players will tee it up, as Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Rory McIlroy, Patrick Cantlay, Max Homa, Xander Schauffele, Will Zalatoris and Viktor Hovland are all in the field. Scheffler, fresh off his win at THE PLAYERS Championship, returns as the defending champion. After successfully defending at the WM Phoenix Open in February, he will be hoping to continue his run of form with another successful title defence this week. Meanwhile, Min Woo Lee, who was in the group tied for sixth at TPC Sawgrass, is teeing it up on TOUR again. He was in the final pairing with Scheffler at THE PLAYERS and is inching closer to earning Special Temporary Membership while being firmly in the mix to earn a TOUR card via the DP World Tour Ranking at year’s end. Kevin Kisner, who has been a star at Austin Country Club for the last few years, having notched a win and two runner-up results in the last four events, is also back in action.

For those who probably cant tell, MW Lee is one of the hardest hittest drivers on the tour right now. Farther/Faster than Brook, McIllroy or DJ at their prime. hes the 1% of the 1%. I'd say bryson was the fastest on tour before he moved to liv, with him hitting low 190s mph ball speed. thats fast, like rank 1 fast. but with bryson gone from the tour, that leaves a new spot to take first. I'd say either this guy MW Lee or Cam champ are probably currrently your leader for driver distance on the tour. Both of these guys are hitting high 180s mph ball speed, fairly consistent on it too. That said, Bryson's golf swing when he is hitting his driver is very "active", a very "strong" looking swing, rough on the edges. Definitely giving it the "treatment". But in comparison, MW Lee and CamChamp have a "smoother" looking swing. Dont let that fool you, they are swinging hard. But it seems that Champ and LEE have better efficiency with their swing mechanics in squeezing out the power needed to generate that ball speed. If you look at Champ and Lee bodies, they are not big guys. If anything, fairly slim. Their swing mechanics probably has something to do with their twitch muscles, or flexibility in able to "shallow" that golf swing on the downswing. It literally looks like their golf shaft is coiling around them and then like a rubber band, just letting it loose where that shaft just "uncoils" and straightens out at impact. Even their (champ and lee) mishits are the same. Which is that hard-draw/overdraw

@@Afe124 He hit 193 in front of me on 18th Travelers Sunday. Farthest i've ever seen someone carry that hole. He flew it 335 uphill. Unheard of.

@@jimecherry That's true - and so do we every time we tee up. However I do appreciate a yell of Fore if a ball is coming my way. I know as I have been hit in the back inches away from my head, and I play at a private club. In fact both Min Woo & Min Jee used to play there (Melville Glades) in Perth, Australia.

You need to show these younger guys way more than all the other golfers that majority of your viewers, especially your younger viewers, do not care to watch because they are boring. Sahith should be a staple in your feed because hes going to entertain. Watching Fitzpatrick and JJ Spaun is a snooze fest. You guys are killing your own product without LIV even having to do anything. All the cameras on course and you still cant figure out a streaming system where you can choose to follow whatever goffer you want instead of being forced to watch adam hadwin, adam scott, jj spaun, matt fitzpatrick, Brian harman, nick taylor, ALL BORING GOLFERS.
