INSANE STORM SURGE on the backside of Hurricane Beryl HAMMERS Sargent, Texas

A jaw-dropping storm surge on the backside of Hurricane Beryl flooded the entire community of Sargent, Texas after the eye wall completely destroyed mobile homes and RVs and damaged many structures. The storm surge flood had remarkable flow velocity, with flood waters surging out of Matagorda Bay and into Sargent, Texas. Meanwhile, HOUSTON took a direct hit from Hurricane Beryl, and received over a foot of rainfall with some of the worst flooding since Harvey, but nothing close to that magnitude. Now, 10 tornado warnings are active in East Texas into western Louisiana as a textbook tropical cyclone-induced #tornado outbreak is happening. Turn around, don't drown!

These storms is what makes me appreciate where I live in Central Oregon because we have real seasons here and most importantly we have No Hurricanes, No Tornadoes, No violent storms like that. Yes we get some snow and Cold temps (average cold) in the winter (longest season) but where we live in Central Oregon we don't even get a lot of snow (totally manageable). Our summers (about 4 months) are beautiful and nice & Hot, a mild Fall and a cold wintery like sometimes mild spring, But No violent storms like this and that makes me really glad and lucky about where I live.

@@incredibledisasters It can be really scary when it happens where you live. Unfortunately are world is ever changing and as time goes on it will only get worse. Most of the population in Florida is in the lower half which is sub tropical and everyday we have more and more people moving here. I was born here and to me most days it doesn’t seem like home anymore. But we survive as you do God Bless and stay safe.

@@publix217 Wow, what a story! 🌪 I totally get it. I’m 40 and living through these intense storms is just something else. I can’t imagine what it must have been like during Hurricane Ian. 🌬 Climate change is really making things unpredictable, and it's hard to see places we love change so much. Florida definitely doesn’t feel the same with so many people moving in. But we push through, don’t we? Stay safe out there, friend! 🌍💪
