Incredible #tornado intercept with the Dominator 3 with debris blasting the armor of the vehicle m. Wind and pressure data measured inside of the dynamic pipe. Tornado outbreak continues in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.
Imagine stepping outside your home on a Saturday, and you look to the right and there's a huge tornado forming practically in your yard, then you look to the left, and there's a bizarre bulletproof looking vehicle in your driveway with 3 or 4 guys shouting and screaming at the tornado. Let's hope nobody in that house has mental health conditions because they wouldn't know where their hallucinations began and ended 🤣
Imagine Reed telling his kids to pick up their rooms... "Big time debris on the floor!!!! Pick it up now!!! Now! We're in the middle of it!!!!! Clean it up now!!!!! Now!!!!"
It has. I worry about us in Colorado later in the summer. I have a feeling mid June to August is going to be full of hail, danger bolts and tornadoes. We just got a new roof on Wednesday from the hail damage last summer, at the end of July. Tornado was super close to us but on the wrong side of our house view wise. So we couldn't see it and we couldn't go out bc the hail giant spiky hail stones.
1. Anyone, buy ONE dozimeter for chasers, maybe not digital, ANALOG type))). 2. Drive drone with detector GAMMA into fresch borned "supercell" NOW!!! 3. Look on gamma LEVEL...
There's nothing better than seeing the DOMINATOR coming down your own driveway... until you realize WHY the Dominator is coming down your driveway! But seriously, I hope that family was in their shelter, not looking out their windows. That could have been a lot worse than a few lost shingles.
When you look out the window and see the dominator parked in your driveway and all the guys inside are looking straight up like little baby birds... "your not gonna have a good time"
First, he stirs his after-dinner coffee, and then he looks down at it, "BIG TIME VORTEX! BIG TIME VORTEX RIGHT NEXT TO US! WE'RE IN A VORTEX! I NEED A NORTH OPTION TO THE BATHROOM NOW! CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A NORTH OPTION TO THE BATHROOM!?!?"
‘24 has delivered some of the best footage up close and scary as heck! The knowledge that has been captured is unsurpassed. Dom team stay out of Tennessee, we love ya from afar.
Reed Timmer is highly intelligent and highly educated with an out of control inner child sense of enthusiasm that makes you feel alive. There's a reason I love watching him, No pretense, just pure passion for what he does.
Well put!!!! I just love watching and listening to his broadcast....................his passion is infectious. Even I am screaming with him!!! Mrs. Moesky...

If Reed ever calls a small funnel as an actual small funnel (i.e. stops calling ever little spin up as a large tornado) I will personally donate $500 to the charity of his choice.
Reed yelling is highly normal, hes also trying to look out for his team so its always tense in the moment trying to get things right. Like 20 mins after the tornado he apologized for it to.
its called being passionate. one of the reasons we all love Reed is his never ending enthusiasm. you dont have a hobby where you exclaim at all? cmon exclamation is literally part of life.
@@kicksalot7214 well im not a regular here so maybe i misread him!? I didn't read it as passion and enthusiasm. But ill give him the benefit of doubt from here on with the volume turned down low.
I'm the same way. There's a thing called professionalism too. Act like you have been there done that before. Most of his yelling is for the camera i feel. It's very annoying and hard to watch.
it's passionate enthusiasm. I've been following Reed's storm chasing since he was doing spots on the weather channel 20 years ago. He was screaming in passion then and he was screaming in passion through all the years he was doing dominator 1 and 2. So many tornados and every one of them is just as exciting for him as the next. If you want to see an equivalent google "Cantor Hits the Thundersnow Jackpot" to see another meteorologist go crazy on live tv over lightning in a snow storm.
Meh, never has bothered me...I see a lot of people complain about it. I think hes just insanely enthusiastic about tornadoes while also trying to keep his team safe. He likes to push the edge.
@@shawnengles8771 I'll take a person with a calm voice in an intense situation then Reed's screaming. Imagine going into combat with someone like him that can't control their emotions in intense situations.
@@deannelson9565 dont bother me either way lol. He may get excited but he knows what hes doing at all times. Thats what matters. not how much he screams
The footage is great. But, the yelling ruins it. While i know these guys are great the yelling gives off a vibe of amateur. It seems to me in tense situations keeping calm is what you're aiming for. When your screaming your head off it makes ppl nuts. Thank you for the great footage. Seriously it's the best. I just have to watch it volume down.
I'm kind of getting tired of seeing these shaky cameras all over the place, you guys should install a stationary 360° camera on top of the roof of Dominator 3 to record tornadoes. Dang! I wanted to see more of those mini-vortex tornadoes right in front of you.
Great footage, a little advice, get the guy screaming constantly a nerve pill or something, you can hear everyone just fine & him screaming like a lunatic makes it annoying to watch.
I love everything about what your doing. Including the passion. Why the screaming? I know I'm not the first person to tell you that your screaming is over the top. It's been a few years since I saw you on TV. Your hair is longer. There's no way everyone on your crew is cool with the screaming.
I think you gotta take Reed to be Reed. Anyone with him knew what they were getting into, and if they're "not cool" with it then they don't have to be there.
He screaming because he's afraid of the tornadoes, afraid to die, afraid of God's wrath.! Just like many Police, they yell at you to control you for their rich masters.
Hint: I live in the Lawton, area of Oklahoma. I have chased tornadoes since I was 10. (52 years). I graduated from the University of Oklahoma Norman, School of Meteorology, in 1995. I formed The St.Gregory's storm chasers club, in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Rule number one. Have your smartest person driving, so they don't panic. A trained chaser knows where to go!!! Have your best cameraman taking video, even if they have no storm chasing experience. If you have three people, the third person should be in charge of communication, information, and maps.
While I can appreciate the excitement and stress of being in an extreme weather event, the frantic shouting narrative is pretty challenging from the viewer-perspective.
I admire what these people do. Saying that, there is no way in hell I would be stuck in a vehicle with that guy screaming all the time. Others are communicating clearly with normal voices. I'd end up parking the damn thing & walking home. Facing the tornado may be better than having to listen to that.
I live in windthorst myself and my family watched that tornado form in our from yard more in town and I can’t lie about that! We drove around and all your showing with the fence we saw. Our place has minor damage and we are all ok! Nice video!
This scares me, and I live in Europe, we don't have tornadoes, we have floods or windy and rainy weather... But never this! Bless everyone who is in need over there 🙏
Reed…Amazing intercept in that driveway with the inflow pulling water out of the pond with shingles blowing off of a roof in the distance. Keep up the great work. Your saving lives with your experience and data you collect. As a retired Air Force pilot, I know how important weather forecasts and real time information is. Thank you for what you do!
Has anyone asked the feds why there is no PUBLIC network of radiology stations in the USA? In Canada it exists, and these stations show very interesting data when supercells pass over them... Plutonium core based meteodrones use HIGH RADIATION GAMMA IMPULSE for provokation HUGE water condensed process in previosly still atmosphere...meansured, please), GAMMA LEVEL near typical "supercell" & understand this message. The plutonium core of the meteodrone generates powerful RADIAL gamma pulses in the dew point layer and this gives the PRIMARY impetus to the entire process of creating a pressure/temperature gradient. See channel Leigh Orf's Thunderstorm Research. This is the main developer of weather weapons based on nuclear irradiation of the atmosphere saturated with water vapor. Blue Waters projekt.
Tornados are really loud, like a freight train. Plus the yelling is his way of expressing his excitement for every tornado he intercepts. People complaining probably don't know him like we do...And they prob complain about everything, all the time.
Honesty it annoyed me today but i understand why, its decisions meaning life or death and trying to keep his team as safe as possible. He did apologise afterward when the adrenaline wore down. Its pretty normal he does this though its just so caught up in the moment
Yeah, it’s very annoying. Pretty much have to watch the videos on mute. His yelling makes communication by everyone else on the vehicles so much harder as well which is not productive.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen footage so close to a tornado forming before! Unbelievable! You guys got some steel ones keeping to your excellent work! Stay safe gentlemen!
I will never stop watching Reed. Ever. BUT, I would pay good money if Reed would stop yelling constantly when a tornado is on the ground…”big time to tornado!!”
Love these videos. My only criticism is the constant screaming inside the vehicle gets old fast. If you used closed coms between passengers it would make for much better audio.
Imagine you’re on vacation and get a motion alert from your Ring camera and it’s Dominator 3 in your driveway with a whole lot of stuff blowing around.
At 1:46 you can see a double vortex and that's the reason Reed was yelling and screaming double as loud(just kidding😂).You are a living legend Mr PhD meteorologist👌
I hope that with all of this footage and in the vortex, there is useful information. Nothing can stop a tornado, but as much information is important . Thank you guys.
Reed: that you still have a voice with all that panic screaming is a miracle. Take a ritalin from time to time to calm down, please. No need to panic, you've done this before. Stay professional. Be cool. Pragmatic.
If he didn't keep screaming "Big tornado!" "Big funnel!" or "Its on the ground!" every 3 seconds I probably would have no clue what was going on in the video
I think he would do better by not screaming all the time. Its like the boy who cried wolf, after a while, everyone ignore his screaming and fail to follow commands. Plus it ruins the data gathered from that one device in the car.
Stop all that screeching and maybe I’ll watch another one of your videos. I lived in those parts for about 12 years. Got whacked by a twister in Lubbock in ‘70. Killed 26. A couple of those were my friends. Quiet down and show a little respect.
Nobody has more respect for tornados or their victims, if you watched a few more of Reed's videos you would know that. He gathers data with the goal of saving lives by improving early warning times and improving construction of buildings to better withstand tornados. We need more Reed Timmers in the world
