I realised after I've posted the video - I got a bit too excited and forgot that you just have to go right into maximus so I'm going to reupload with a few changes.
Apparently OCG players are mixing it with Azamina, I always recommended to my friend to try a Kash package as it's good and birth allowed you to freely summon DM if you need him on board
It's funny you should say that... My Kash cards came on Saturday! I'm just waiting on the Scareclaw Kashtira to arrive as it's running a bit late. I'm at a sneak peak event for ROTA on Saturday and buying 3 boxes. Will be posting the opening of the boxes, wish me luck!
So, this is great in theory. But I honestly think there’s too much main deck commitment. I think you could still do the whole toy box magician souls. But you would just play it in azmania or fiend smith. Especially bc lacrima is coming out in not too long this could be a viable option for pure fiend smith. But instead of snake eye cards you would just play Protoss and nemisis flag and corridor and colossus. But I think all those packages in one deck is way too much. I also think that one interaction can cuck this entire combo.
Toybox is 100% better in Azamina / White Forest (etc.) I'll be making videos with those cards too - but my favorite thing to do in Yugioh is cope over DM cards. I wouldn't take this to a regional event or higher, but it's fun to try and cook the absolute ceiling of the so called DM / "Yugi cards." I pray that DM gets the blue eyes treatment and they announce a new structure deck with more support, but that's at least a year (plus) away given that we're still waiting for the new BE structure deck in TCG.
I think the combo is cool, but I believe its a case of "just because you can do it, doesnt mean you should", its not feasible to use this many engines in the deck with an unbeliavable amount of bricks just for a board that isnt even an ftk. This game isnt about who makes the bigger endboard, its about how you achieve that while also having the best deck possible and being able to play around stuff.
This is why I sign off the video with "help me cook". The deck list isn't complete yet, because I'm trying to balance the strength of the end board with the amount of garnets in the deck. It's mainly me playing around with different ways to include a Dark Magician in a combo and the end board not just be a single solitary Dragoon. I played around with REF Dragoon turbo but a single Dragoon is just not good enough anymore. If you have any ideas or suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks for watching/commenting though, we DM copers need to sweat super hard to make him worth it!
hm so its snake eyes branded dogmatika toy box dark magician. i just love how the solutions of dm players to their deck being shit is just cramming as many good engines in the deck as possible and playing 2 dm cards and then still call it a dm deck. also ngl this combo dies to nib and is kinda mid for an unsearchable 2 card card combo. like this is just a worse branded board and it immidiatly dies to nibiru.
DM players combine DM cards with other engines because pure DM can't compete in the modern meta. This gives us 2 options, just play other decks that are stronger, or experiment with ways to make DM cards a bit more playable because it's fun? Also I'm not sure about "not searchable" when you can run 9 copies of Magician's Souls and 7 copies of toy box (ROTA + 3 Toy soldier.) It dies to nib, but so does pretty much every other "rogue" strategy. Let's be honest, any kind of DM list isn't even rogue, it's cope-tier. But some of us find it fun to cope I guess :-)
@@sobbles6242 That's what DM players do best! (Quietly hoping that DM gets the blue eyes treatment in a new SD, but we're still waiting on the new blue eyes SD to come to the TCG so I'm thinking that's a while off...)
You're definitely a fun person huh. Hell I don't even play the deck/care about DM and yet I watched and listened his whole combo. Why don't you take a deck that cannot compete and make it go off to try and actually compete? Or lemme guess you solely net deck and don't try to use your brain to make it better or see why you're losing with a good deck.
The channel isn't exclusively a DM cope channel, but there's always going to be part of me hoping that new support makes the deck competitive again. Blue eyes is getting a glow up in the new structure deck, so anything is possible I guess!
Let's be real, you might have a chance to do this full combo once each 100 games. We should stop coping with DM deckbuilding and start spamming a puking DM on konami socials or smth
You'd be surprised - with 9 copies of Magician's souls and 7 copies of toybox you draw the cards quite consistently. I'm posting a full decklist once I've finished tweaking - but I'm under no illusions re: it being cope tier.
