For real if he ends up jumping to Returnal at some point he has played everything I have wanted him to play. He's exceedingly consistent with his game picks.
Most definitely. I just want to see him play Returnal, Prey, The Talos Principle, The Witness, Obra Dinn, and the Plague Tale games and he'll have played every game that I want him to play haha.
"It's a card game. Interesting" When I bought this game I knew nothing about it other than I saw it on a list of games that would blow you away if you weren't spoiled. My reaction was "I just bought a card game? I don't play card games... should I refund?" But of course I loved it.
Understatement. It's an indie gem for sure. Masterpiece might be a bit of an exxageration but the initial card gameplay definitely hit the spots for me on top of the atmosphere, style, sound design, story, horrory and meta elements.
Oh boy, I did not expect this one but hey, this will be fun time, you will love the mysteries this game has to offer, all I am saying is - Take your time, don't rush to finish the game and try to explore everything possible
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one Dying in the first battle by doing the worst possible plays was a tiny bit painful to watch, but failiure is the best teacher, which is most certainly true with this game
Ooooh, nice, Inscryption! I waited a long time to play this game myself, finally decided to play it last year because I've heard so many positive reviews from friends... At first I thought this would be too macabre for my tastes, but it uses narration/plot twists so well it kept me interested until the end. Definitely not your typical cards game, this one asks to think outside the box (quite literally)!
Oh man, this channel really has seriously no chill when it comes to ending a great playthrough and going straight to another great game haha. Thanks to the Patrons for the recommendations so far!
i once used teo sacrifice events to put the soul of the black goat and the eternal cockroach into the black cat, making for an infinitely sacrificeable, endlessly returning black cat that gave me three blood whenever i needed. It was pretty OP, I'm not going to lie
OMG yes! YES! I've been binch watching your channel for 8 months (16 full let's plays) and thanks to you I've played Death Stranding, which is now a personal favourite of mine! And you just keep up with amazing content! You are *by far* my favourite Let's Player! And I've seen a lot of channels over the past 10 years! Keep on keeping on!
I played this game last year - easily a quality game and I was so happily surprised to see this pop up in my feed! I can't wait for you to dive into the secrets here!
I think you're the first playthrough I've seen to actually stop and look up the skink and ant sigils to solve the drawer puzzles! I'm so pleased. So many people just brute force it and it's annoying! What's the fun in just bashing it until it works? Anyway, I would not have thought to see this game on your channel! Looking forward to it. This has been very fun so far.
I was about to comment that too. Good to see someone thinking the same. When i saw him actually put time in looking up what the sigils meant to solve the puzzles i was surprised and happy. Many people just tried to brute force it to no avail and some just gave up without even considering looking up the sigils.
YEAAAAAAAAAAAH this is a game I've really been wanting to watch you play, I completely have neglected to check patreon for awhile, so this was a great surprise to see
OMG i just woke up and saw this NO WAY DUDE - THIS GAME WILL BLOW YOUR MIND! I’m so so so excited ❤❤❤ this was like the best thing I could’ve woken up to lmao Btw stoat pronounced like boat
I just started playing this game on my own. So excited to watch your play through while I also tackle it. Hopefully your play through can help me on the parts I’m stuck on 😅. This will be fun!!
This is a pleasant surprise! I got through a big chunk of Inscryption myself, but hit a wall at a certain point and couldn't really proceed anymore. I've also never really done well with horror/suspenseful games, which ultimately made me set it aside, so experiencing it through one of my favorite channels is probably the next best thing. Hope you like it and I'm curious to see how it goes too! Also forgot to mention one of the reasons I was interested in it is because it gives me big Yugioh Season 0 vibes! Ultimately it was just a little too creepy for me though.
OMG Inscryption let's GOOO :DD I was gonna write more as it went on, but I got sucked in xD It's such a great game and your opponent is an awesome 'Dungeon Master' indeed! You did really well on your first boss actually, it took me a few tries to get it right. There are still so many secrets to uncover in this game and I cannot wait to see you play the rest of it :D
Yeah, I'm kind of 50/50 as to whether I'm interested in some of the recent games he played, which is a shame as they tend to last a long time. Having a few shorter games in the mix would likely increase the chance of watching more series. Obviously its up to Mapo as to what he wants to play, but mixing in a short game with the longer ones would provide greater range and number of games played..
Honestly, this is only my first video watched of this channel but I was absolutely crazy about this game and it’s my all time favorite card game! I was looking for another series of inscryption but I didn’t expect someone to play the game in 2023!😅
Wow, the other day I was thinking "Oh, I hope that Mapo will play Inscryption someday, would be fun to watch." Well, here we are... this should be good.
if you like the map structure of Inscryption (and Cult of the Lamb to an extent), I'd heartily recommend Slay the Spire, which was clearly an influence on Inscryption's maps. Slay the Spire also inspired Peglin's maps, if you've ever played that.
oooh this gonna be fun! its got quite a bit to it, though definitely gonna be lots of misplays as you learn >< for example you can just attack flying units, you only need something like the frog to block them damaging you directly >
