I feel like these super expensive housings are always build as if rich people always had the company of at least 10 friends at a time. Imagine owning so many seats and tables, must feel very lonely and way to big in reality.
Even if they have 20 friends to keep company, i would bet anything that if that person didn’t have the money for a house like this, those “friends” wouldn’t be there
@@JZCROW Yeah I agree. If you are the standard family you are 4 on your self and with parents 8. Although they might not live there full time they need their spaces. In addition you may have sibling normally one with also partner adding another 2. The total would then be 10 and not even considering their children and maybe staff like chefs, nannies ( kind of unnecessary if your already around 10 people xD) security or assistants.
I'd assume thats why most of celebrities end up killing them selves, suffering from depression and what not, if they don't have real friends, and especially living in such houses with like 50 bathrooms, makes you very lonely as you said.
Yeah, it actually feels like a home, unlike some of the ones you see. Like, I could see myself living here and actually enjoying living there rather than feeling like everything's too big and too open.
“A master class in simplicity.” Just a simple cigar bar, a simple car turntable, a simple theater, “pajama lounge,” massage room. The puritans would have felt right at home.
@SmokeKing After seeing the kitchen in the video, I am not shocked as to why they didn't feature it here. It's a commercial kitchen rather than a home kitchen. The people who are renting out these places aren't home cooks. They are the ones that have their personal cooking staff, not one guy but a whole staff, on call like you would at any high end resort.
Este es un fastuoso ejemplo de decadencia de la especie humana. Aunque no creo que muchos entiendan el por qué. This is a lavish example of the decline of the human being. Although, I don't think many people understand why.
I wanna become one of these rich people’s many many “friends” so I can just go over and enjoy these amenities without being burdened by massive maintenance fees etc
dont be one of their friends. My grandpa is wealthy and he doesnt really respect any of them. He just likes the ones that suck up to him and smooch off him, but somehow he doesnt realize they r using him for his money.
Not only is this designed so well, it was staged BEAUTIFULLY. Something you run into a lot with showing these big masterpiece homes is that they feel empty and big and not like a home, but i didn't get that with this at all. This feels homey and comfortable but also like a retreat where your mind can just calm. Incredible!
They blur the art and then show a statue of Buddha from Thailand (which is Illegal unless you obtain permission from the Govt) and then use is as an art piece. 🤔
The cameraman/ editor had no idea what they're doing. Colors washed out. Messed up white balance. Awkward camera panning. Wobbly and amateurish host tracking shots.
I came to the comments looking for this... As a real estate photographer/videographer I was cringing the whole time. Lots of out of focus moments on top of the color issues. looks like Slog2 that was never graded. frame rate/shutter speed issues too. It was just SO bad. I couldn't get through the video. Hosts had some cringe-worth lines as well... "vintage Rocky bag"... Um, that's a punching bag, but fine, lets go with "Rocky" bag. "You can feel the chi" (said while holding up two fists in front of his chest)... I'm not sure frat-bros know how to "feel the chi"! "200 lb bronze Buddha statue"... I'm no expert but I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the giant metal Buddha is closer to 2000 lbs.
Usually homes this scale seem to be “cold” and too neutral due to the sizes of the rooms and the materials used. But in this case, the used materials really give this home a warm feeling. I love the wooden and golden accents used throughout 😍
"This home is truly a masterclass in simplicity" *has a bridge to enter the foyer, spa retreat, wellness centre, 18-seat home theatre, auto gallery, nightclub area, glass pool and is $350,000 rent a month*... okeh
This is the greatest house of all time. Los Angeles really should protect this as an architectural patrimony. This developer is more Artist than Developer.
So much stuff about this house is what I've thought about before: •The bath & shower layout •The design of the theatre •The garage idea •The staircases •The gym and hidden spa behind the mirror •The treadmill & gym equipment aesthetic •The sliding doors •The skylight in the bedroom •The bedroom being surrounded by glass and greenery
I have to say this house really is quite impressive. Huge without feeling empty, really great looking materials and furniture, and stunning view. Probably one of my favorite contemporary style house featured on AD. Plus a nice Jag XK150 to top it all off.
Why is AD only uploading in 1080p? The houses would be even more beautiful in 4K 60 FPS. Seems like a waste to be using 4K-cinema-grade hardware to then upload it in 1080p..
@@SecularDarwinism AD is the biggest architecture channel on RU-vid earning millions a year. I'm sure they can afford an editor with a decent PC and a 10TB HDD to store footage. (20h of raw 4K footage is around 1 TB)
@@ivanichianus it’s called valid criticism, and 1080p looks a bit garbage when using a 1440p/4K Display, whataboutism is cringy, lets go back to 480p and 2007 shall we
WOW!!! Just Spectacular! Probably the nicest architecture and interior design I've seen. It has the perfect balance of modern, but not that "cold sterile" typical modern. This has warmth & depth. Truly a Masterpiece! I have to watch it again, right now!!!!
This is honestly the perfect house for me, not too modern and just right that it still has the nature and cozy vibe. I love the person who designed this house.
I am seeing this house for like 2 years the completion then that small 5 min video showcasing the house and williams and williams live insta tour, i was in love with this masterpiece, now i fully understand the house i was waiting when will AD make a video of this masterpiece because its one in a million, Ardie Tavangarian made these two masterpiece of architecture, 822 sarbonne rd and 1601 san onfre. These two are brilliant work of architecture totally unique and the best!
I'm very clumsy, so I stumble a lot and tend to break things. I don't know why I keep watching these, fancy-looking houses full of glass and smooth surfaces give me the heebie jeebies. I literally get freaky chills every time it pans to a window lmao
This house is beautiful...and actually worth the price. I don't say that about a lot of properties! The movie theatre and the "Pajama Lounge" are two favorite rooms. Definitely would use the lounge for my family all the time. Also, I feel that the movie theatre is a proper-sized home theatre. A lot of property tours I've seen on RU-vid have home theatres that feel smaller. I'm guessing it's my perception of those theatres, but the theatre in this video feels just right. I'm guessing it's the Radio City Music Hall inspiration!
My love.... such incredible piece of art.... 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Very talanted architect and interior designer and client with great tast of style and life wishes You did amaizing project. Would love to live there with family and friends
