I love this home. I’ve actually toured it before. Your camera quality and everything is amazing. My only complaint is that you’re detailing things in this home that if a person bought would all be an upgrade, extra cost, or have to outsource. I love toll brothers homes but their models have millions of dollars in upgrades. 😅
Nice I wish the bedrooms where bigger especially with all that space, but the bedrooms turn out to be small to me... I mean two kitchens my bedrooms space should be as big especially the bathrooms are all too small, but it’s a beautiful home
Good video and it's pretty nice and the price isn't bizarre for a big house on a hill in driveable LA. I would never choose las vegas over north LA. It's pretty good design but I would really encourage toll brothers to shake off any provincial design sensibility and really consciously be inspired by top end LA architecture because they build houses of the same size and no major difference in material cost so it's a big opportunity to get the design language just right. One obvious thing I've mentioned before is the infinity pool when they are elevated, particularly with a view as good as this. That is such an obvious and easy win. I really like the white tile in the yard, the dug out sitting area is pretty high end and aquarium pool wall but they are blocking the view from both the pool and the hottub. That's crazy pants. I mean this as constructive criticism because they have a good thing going and it's a great opportunity for them, imagine if this house was design wise as exquisite as the best you've seen on youtube at any price but still same size as this, same lot, same location, same price. Imagine how savagely quickly that would be sold. And the modern luxury is a fairly simply design recipe. It's not all that difficult to copy. When they have the urge to add a bit of mesa, a bit of arizona, a bit of las vegas, the answer is a hard no. Only high end LA style. Without exception. That said this house is pretty good, among their best, but still has some provincial sensibilities they can shed. Small tiles, that's a no. Brown curtains, that's a mesa violation. Same with brown edge on the stairs and upper balcony, who's going to jail for that. That wood plank flooring they are using, just use the warm oak that's popular in all high end from 6million santa monica to 20 million in the hills. If you don't know any better, just use that. Carpet might seem friendly but in general, it's a no. Combined bathtub and shower, big no. It's not an apartment from the 90s, just no :) It's a fairly simple rule set to follow. They don't have to be the best architects in the world, just copy the best from the santa monica mountains. Be shameless about it. Maybe even strive for upstaging the best. Why not. Because north LA is still somewhat moderate in price they have an opportunity to do great by their customers. Why not do the best look when good design is almost free.
Incredible home. Love this property Darren. There is so many to like about it. In terms of Size there is definitely a lot of Space and The Flow from the Living, Kitchen ( with those storage ) never seen so many!! second kitchen, outdoor space by the pool is also very nice. One of the nicest I've seen in this price range. Adding a third Loft was also a nice thing to consider if Anyone buying this home. It makes a nice Entertainment Area for sure. Btw...I like the message by the kitchen if you can ask Alexa to do dishes??? That one was a funny one...I can't Imagine Alexa doing dishes lol. I love this stunning 3 tier home and the staging was incredible plus that so hot spiral staircase and the backyard set up with the views priceless and yes the 3rd floor is so cool and needs to be a game room most of all I'm glad your back I miss you bro your still my favorite
I thought the same thing, When he said the house was over 5,000 square feet, In my opinion, each bedroom screams, This is a 2,500 square feet home, But still, it's a very beautiful and very spacious home.
17:33 I’m surprised that luxury home builders don’t account for a standing safe as part of the intricate master bedroom closet space. I would want a tall, narrow safe for watches, jewelry, cash, Pokémon cards, etc.
@@ohroonoko .....That's VERY true (for jewelry)......It's also possible this home would have a nice size safe/panic room for the family, which obviously could not be shown in the video, BUt it's still a very beautiful and well appointed home!
@@1limited669 toll brothers builds mcmansions they likely haven’t realized that with the overly ridiculous cost of real estate nationwide they are in the mansion price range. I mean really this house is pretty but 5000 sqft should cost around 500k in the US. Maybe 700-900k for a very high end build like this one. Now days though with the housing bubble that’s out the window, just two years ago these homes were overpriced at 1.2 million or so. THEYVE DOUBLED. So I think with the ever soaring prices toll brothers didn’t think to do these things

19:24 built-in speakers are still a thing in luxury homes? They can’t match the audio quality of stand alone stereo speakers like a pair of electrostatics for music listening, and they’re probably not optimized for surround sound, either.

I mean all these model homes have so many upgrades by the time u add all those when u build you are looking at an additional $1 million especially for a home of this magnitude. People just don't fall for what you see on these channels it is all click bait
