Spike is going to help the local economy by buying up the store! What treasures does this Mom n Pop video game shop have hidden away? You won't find anywhere like this on Google maps!
Haha a store stuck in time, love it! :D How difficult can it be to just display the products properly and make it easily accessible to the customers? Crazy :D Glad you got the Super GameBoy. SNES controller is perfect with GB games!
Haha! Sorry, Tony! 🍻 I guess we are all just set in our ways. ESPN, NBC, IBM.... IKEA, NASA, UNICEF, NATO... It's just the way I've always said it. I get it, though!
Do these shops own the space or rent it? Rent for storefront in the US is crazy expensive nowadays and unless you are bringing in 5k a month even for a small shop you are not gonna last so i wonder what the deal is here.
Ok. Sorry it took so long, but I can finally answer this question. They own the space. The floors above them, they lease out to other companies while they run their own gaming store business downstairs like a hobby!
@@SpikeSetsFire Thanks for the reply!! that makes a lot more sense then lol Japan never disappoints i hope to visit one day. Cheers from the USA and hope all is well.
@@zachmoyer1849 Thanks, Zach! You'll love it here! When you come, be sure to drop me a line. I'd love to hear about your adventures! It's a whole different world here!
Thanks, Bill! I'd say it's both underpriced and overpriced. Some games that are $10, you can find elsewhere for $1. But there's some stuff in this shop that would probably sell for a lot more in places that actually take the time to price games individually.
It was all an act, Kenny. They conned us, and they scored big time. Mon N Pop's plan was to move into the neighbourhood. Establish trust....for 48 years. And then run off with my Super GameBoy money.
