This is a lovely, unique place- the emphasis on ancient culture & art is a standout. Well done for showcasing the beauty of Nigeria. To help boost their business you should share the name of this resort, I’m sure many will want to stay there after watching this.
I loooove mud and bamboo architecture. This is creative and so beautiful! The traditional mud hut exterior and contempoary interior feels futuristic to me.
Why do you need electric lighting in a full daylight ? A small glass panel on the roof will make the pool looks so natural . Just missing a peacock in your court yard to welcome guests.
If we valued our traditional way, we would have perfected this and more African youth would own homes like this ( made with their own hands) instead of living in slums trying to buy bricks and cement
if y’all values your traditional ways you wouldn’t have traded your traditional ways for the ways of foreigners who’ve stripped you of your wealth and dignity.
Nothing will stop me from spending some time here when I visit Home! Nothing. I’ll save this video. Hopefully when I’m ready, I’ll request for info on how to book my space. Super awesome!
awesome stuff bro. would love to inquire a hting or two about this. I am in Kenya and would love to actualize such a project here as well. kindly get in touch with me please
Im wondering why it's only use for resort and tourism, this should be the regular house in africa. Mud house doesnt mean it can't be modern. African architecture rise up again please!!
This resort with the traditional roundhouses is phenomenal!!!! I absolutely love EVERYTHING about it. What if you wanted to build this as a personal home in Ghana? Could you direct me to the right sources? Thank you so much for this video. Excellent work!!!
We need to start decolonizing our architecture & go back to the basics of African Architecture. Cutting trees & placing cement blocks everywhere is just not sustainable.
La Campaign Tropicana is far from main parts of Lagos, but no surprise mud houses will have favorable temperature. This, along with limestone, makes for great tourism structures.
Please Nigerian builder hire interior designers. So much potential ruined by horrible design. Mismatch colors, lack of cohesiveness, I am sorry but it’s just ugly. This place need to be redesigned completely. So much bad taste.
This is a beauty! But I saw an Aircondition unit (white thing on the wall) behind the narrator @5:55 what's up with that? I thought the clay building is naturally cooling.
The outside of the house and the gardens surrounding it are very pretty, but the inside of the house is ugly. I mean U-G-L-Y, too ornate, too dark, just too much and the cost is exorbitant. Your playing into white supremacy by setting housing prices like this. Meanwhile a large percentage of Nigerian people can only afford a tin shack. This house reminds me of that movie Coming to America, when the male lead's cousin decorated his apartment, but ML instead gave it to the slummy apartment manager.
Shouldnt the refrigerator be in the kitchen or close instead of by the pool that it plain dumb. A strong wind will blow your house away or 2 much rain will cause the place to melt away
