Agreed, she's a real beauty, but on the small side - if the owner wants to party more and travel less, they want to trade up to the biggest Silent Cat they can get.

Yes, it's just tragic that Pershing and all of Ferretti Group were sold to China. I hope many people of those great employees leave that group and form a new Italian/European company, or join existing ones to make such beautiful boats under better ownership!

It's also partially owned by the Ferrari family. Entirely Italian management, yachts built in Italy...it's a bit harsh to criticise the ownership when they are doing such a great job.

@@Yachtsforsaleblog Ferrari family have only around 8% which is basically nothing. It's Chinese-owned, Chinese-controlled now. Of course they have "Italian management" as a front, that helps them operate with most people not even knowing they're Chinese-owned. That has been the Chinese strategy with countless companies for years already: pretend to be as Western as possible. And that's how companies work (especially Chinese ones): owners call the shots, decide strategy, decide which suppliers they use, etc. and the rest is just execution. China has a very organised, very sophisticated long-term plan which has been formed by CCP and PLA. The money goes to China, control is in China, and especially in the future all the "market-muscle" which these companies have is wielded by China. Not to mention how much China bribes European politicians and civil servants... China is not a normal country to deal with, even as merely a trading partner: even fully European companies which only trade with China are pressured into hiring Chinese people into the company (who are really PLA agents of course). And with Chinese-owned companies the situation is even further in that direction of Chinese control and they really use all means to wrest control of the industry and gear it to a Chinese-dependent one, as well as using all their nefarious means to gain advantage for the companies they own. They definitely use industrial espionage aggressively.

Actually I have always preferred the bigger crewed yachts, over these smaller fast cruising yachts, but I have to say that I am pretty damned impressed by this boat. This would fit into the Miami lifestyle perfectly.

They're pretty efficient for the speeds they cruse at...remember that the fuel consumption is divided up onto the far more miles they do per hour. If you typically only have limited time to spend on your yacht as you are still working/have other obligations, a faster yacht lets you have a much larger area to discover. Especially after a few years you've probably seen everything which is a few miles away a million times, and a fast yacht lets you expand that reach many times over.

What a very cynical point of view. It’s really not that unusual for owners of yachts of this size to change them very regularly. They usually take a big hit financially, but consider yacht ownership as an expensive past time that they enjoy. And the only people who “needs more explanation” are qualified buyers who come and view the yacht.

Any possible "suspicious" circumstances are almost certainly regarding the owner, not the yacht! And with such a new yacht there's basically no fear of an owner in financial trouble having skimped on maintenance either.
