Craig and Earl grew up in Thailand, where the only people we knew in a Thai jail were those trying to smuggle heroin out of the "Golden Triangle"... and Craig's dad.
What a wonderful video! Living in Thailand for 25 yrs, ive enjoyed the opportunity to buy, on several occasions, the lovely works of art made by the prisoners. God bless you all.
Great video guys, were there many westerners in this prison i think i only saw one in this video, If so would have been good to hear how they view the prison system....
I taught English in Bangkok in the 80's and we collected magazines and books for the foreigners in Bang Kwang, Many falangs in prison had 25 to life for drugs. I wonder how many of the prisoners I talked to back than are still there?
Good video but background music.. Is it that necessary to put a background music with high volume. I usually watch youtube to learn something , have fun and relax. Not to get tired
i m thai and glad to find out your youtube. Those prisoners have very skillful, I hope when they are out, they can use their skills for career. Pray for them
Good day my dear friend, I just wanted to established the importance of logistic security features in particular prison. It’s very much essential to have all the prison equipped with a fully recorded camera to ensure no misconduct to be carried out by officers on duty. We already received and expirience numerous complaint on officers bullying and taking matters in their own personal hands. To eliminate this negative culture in workplace, a comprehensive action plan has to be carried out by the high ranking personnel❤ thank you Sincerely HELMI(MALAYSIA)
Spent time in IDC Suan Plu,survived to tell the tail it is, Squaler,no privacy, dont get yourself in a situation that you are there! Hell on earth, this was back 2010,no plans to see again even though I'm back in Thailand
I feel sorry for those children that don’t have parents or family to raise them. As for the Murd*** I have find it difficult to find any sympathy for them.
I spent 6 months in Chiang mai central prison, there was 70 or 80 people in there, it's horrendous, the worst place is the IDC in Bangkok, you can Google room 7 in there and see pictures of just how bad it is, great video.
Usually it's not my aim to stay in prison, but it is possible. I don't want so sleep only with a blue blanket on hard underground. We can say that Minimum one of 10 is not guilty in prison. And this rate is estimated and maybe one of five. This is one reason not to move to Thailand, the next one ist the heat and the many Insects. But beside, Thailand is a beautiful place to live.
Are you suuuuuuure he did purely and solely "gospel" work? Are you suuuuuuuuuure? Such gospel spreaders are usually notorious for doing sucky-sucky effy-effy dodgy stuff.
I spent 15 in Thailand Immigration in Bangkok! It was Pure Hell…the office stole my camera gear! In fact they told me I didn’t arrive with anything! After 10 days I was allowed to buy my ticket back to the US. They sent me home with the clothes on my back! The illegal gambling by the staff was a nightly occurrence. The US Embassy was no help which made the situation even worse! Thailand is Not the land of smiles. All of the officials are money grabbing thugs!
