That missile assembly bay has been in use since the mid 1950's. Over the years there has been close to a dozen different missile models assembled and tested in that bay. BTW, that facility belonged to Hughes Aircraft (only ever built one aircraft --Spruce Goose) before Raytheon bought the company something like 30 years ago.
That's bullshit. I've not been in the Tomahawk factory, but I HAVE spent a lot of time at another (competitor's) missile factory, and they don't skimp on their tools and tooling AT ALL. Call it the military industrial complex or whatever you like - but their facilities and equipment are absolutely top notch and you won't find chinesium garbage anywhere.

My cousin wrote all the programming for the tomahawk, and did so in FORTRAN . I was trained in FORTRAN and can read and write it . The tomahawks of today still use his program but no one can read it !
