Here in the USA our experience has been that robots DO replace workers, but they replace the workers who do the most hazardous and repetitive jobs. And those are usually the lowest paid workers. But they also CREATE higher paying jobs for mechanics and technicians who maintain and operate the robots. On balance, it really is a good thing. The challenge for Africa will be in training all those mechanics and technicians that will be needed in the future. Thanks for a great video that inspires and gives hope.

One hates it when Ghanaians use Nigeria to raise awareness about their own country. Why can't people comment without saying 'I am a Ghanaian', "as a Ghanaian", etc? That is a sign of inferiority complex. Ghana is in indeed a small, but must you people always seek attention? Other Africans, Togolese, etc have more confidence in themselves, why do Ghanaians lack that confidence?
@kwamenyame1277
@kwamenyame1277 3 года назад
@@asitis4661 lol you have a lot of issues... how many Ghanaians do you know. When people use as a Ghanaian etc... it is only a description for people to better understand where someone is coming from. We don’t lack confidence my dear brother/sister or whoever you are. We are rather very confident in our identity, that’s why we make it known. Don’t confuse the two. At the same time don’t confuse arrogance for confidence like some people do. I am an Ashanti, a very proud Akan at that who loves my dear country Ghana and all Ghanaians, who happens to love my dear brothers and sisters from Nigeria and indeed Africa as a whole. Don’t make assumptions on someone or something you do not know.

That tells you the huge size of the Nigerian market. If that was any other African country, the management would have been forced to expand to other nations. But he's in Nigeria, so he's barely scratching the surface, let alone meeting the demand. Any serious business person today needs to be investing in Nigeria. It's the African India or China. It is the one market in Africa that realistically could make you a multi-millionaire, or even a billionaire.

@strange_sunset007 light brother/sist..of course we are BLACK just like Fiji,Vanuatu,New Caledonia,Solomon Islands,Australian Aboriginals etc. Now back to your question. Yes Papua New Guinea is made up of different ethnic groups or indigenous with different skin colours..Where I am from in Papua New Guinea, people are Black and brown like Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods respectively. Okay,there are several other areas of Papua New Guinea where people's skin colours are similar to the skin color of American singer Alicia Keys. They are classified as Polynesians,similar to the indigenous Maori people of New Zealand,Tahiti,Samoan,etc. There is also another area in Papua New Guinea where the people's skin colours are darker then my skin colour or darker than Michael Jordan's skin colour..dark like the South Sudanese or the Kenyan Masai people. They are known as Bougainville people. Google 'Bougainville Papua New Guinea ' to find out more. We are all native indigenous people of mixed colours, hundreds of tribes, and hundreds of languages that makes up what is known as Papua New Guinea. I thank you for your question, and feel free to ask me more if you want.I am happy to reply so other Black brothers and sisters around the world can read my comments and learn a bit more about Papua New Guinea. .

@strange_sunset007 light i understand what you're saying regarding Indians and whites.In my country light skinned people (similar to Alicia Keys) including myself with African dark skin consider ourselves BLACK.And my country Papua New Guinea, including neighbouring countries such as Fiji,Solomon Islands,Vanuatu,New Caledonia etc are officially known as MELANESIAN countries. Melanesia is a Greek word which means, BLACK. (Google Melanesian countries). I know Indians don't regard themselves as Black but in the eyes of white European people and the Ku Klux Klan, Indians are Black...no matter how hard some of them try to bleach their skin white,they are still Black in the eyes of white Europeans...had Indians been living in ameriKKKa in the,40s, 50s,60s,Jim Crow laws would have applied to them as well.

Hopefully, in 10 to 20 years time, they could come on board like innoson.. Innoson started in vehicles production started in 2007. But it's process started decades ago. Innoson also has assesories of some of the components of the vehicles they manufactured in many factories in different locations in Nigeria. Innoson started with importation of motorcycle spare parts followed by motorcycle assembly------ followed by manufacturing the parts etc He also have other 5 different factories...one produces plastics needed in the vehicle manufacturing plant etc. Therefore,it takes over 20 years or more before any company's stabilization . It's a gradual systematic process.

That is how the world works, if Africa grows then all wealthy countries will benefit since they have the money to invest and start this growth to begin with, in fact it's highly likely that foreign countries will own a large part of these future companies (if they will ever exist) so I'm not sure if it's that good for the African people more so than it is for wealthy countries like the West and East Asia.

Like someone here said earlier, Nigeria is a dark horse that people outside seem not to comprehend the scale at which things are growing there. Most media and people out there mostly expect or want to dwell of the negative publicity of Nigeria, Concerning foreign investors you mentioned, some are there and more are looking towards entering, but for many years now Nigeria and Nigerians are actually investing by themselves in some of these huge ventures and projects that are normally done by foreign investments in some other countries. Nigerians are taking their faith in their hands in areas they can, while still expecting the foot dragging foreign investment. If you watch well, from automobile, tech, oil and gas, infrastructure, petrochemical, etc... more Nigerians companies and individuals are investing in large scale, some already in motion, some on the works. The bad publicity of Nigeria affects some foreign investment, but also opens the way for local investors... both are important, but Nigerians won't wait for all the foreign investment to arrive before moving on.

Governments are made of people who are representative of the sensitivities of their demographic. Until a decade ago, movies being the cheapest entertainment, besides a spouse, were imparting knowledge, intellectual stimulation and political acumen to masses. Since last decade, there is a demographic shift towards internet and on-demand content. The on-demand internet content is such that people actually see what is happening around the world and aspire for the same. So, even the worst Government will adjust to the needs and aspirations of people in due course of time. No need to be doing coups and being belligerant against existing governments. The study of Psychology and how to communicate with even a ruthless leader is important for all highly educated Africans who are the real minority of full-tax payers in African nations. That said, I understand that the problem of tribal silos mentality exists in Africa and colored Asia. We must all make it a habit to not ask anyone their tribe even in love relationships. Even if someone gets to know of one's tribe, that person better not talk about the tribe. I saw a video in which last President Obama went to Kenya and bragged that his father was of a higher class tribe. This mentality is hurting Africans and colored Asians too because weapon's dealers exploit this tribal silos mentality for weapons sales. Another idea is increasing the number of public universities in Africa in all disciplines. USA with only 320 million people has more than 300 world-class universities and 3000 accredited universities. Now there are around 1.4 billion people in Africa. How many universities Africa must be having now? Also, Africans cannot all go to Europe, China, India and Americas to get educated. Also, foreign education is expensive and results in an impression of colonialism in one's mind. Now, an African nation’s money is going at creating best work-force for foreign countries to be exploited. Rich African youth, well-educated from foreign countries, are feeling indebted to those foreign countries. That indebtedness must be broken and that indebtedness can be broken only when the rich are educated in their respective countries or other nations of similar peoples....Have you ever heard American Presidents, English Prime Ministers and American or European Finance and Defense Ministers and other top rulers and their businessmen studying in foreign countries, especially Africa? Also, for the money being spent on the defense budgets to wage a war on neighbors, can anyone imagine how many world-class universities can be built and/or run in these nations for the next 40 years? In a nation, as many as possible must be educated in graduate and post-graduate degrees, with poor getting scholarships to improve their loyalty to that particular nation. Unemployed post-graduate youth are the least worry to a nation and majority will ultimately strive to be entrepreneurs, start non-profits, join civil services, armed forces, become politicians, go to foreign countries etc., thus ensuring Africa will also develop in Fourth Industrial Revolution on par with at least China if not USA. At UN, when someone speaks about “Development”, one thinks only about “economic development”. Thus, the nations of the world are divided based on their economic development as Developed nations, Developing nations, and third-world. If you analyze and observe, the nations that are transitioning from the status of third-world to developing to developed nations have similar ways of life and they do not follow their religions verbatim though they strive to defend the same for political and economic gains. Just upgrading economic reforms and relaxing FDI laws won’t help achieve development. Besides Economic reforms, any nation needs waves of social and cultural reforms in parallel to catch up with China, USA, Japan or other developed nations. Many nations of Africa and colored Asia carrying the weight of their bygone colonial history, had waves of social and cultural reforms pre-independence to unite their peoples against colonial rule. However after Independence, the social and cultural change has been rather slow in those nations. Many nations are still struggling to shake off the colonial mindset being passed on from generation to generation. Intellectuals must come together and come up with innovative ideas for the Pan-African identity by mixing the various discriminatory ideologies like tribes, languages, religions, sects, castes, regions, last names, gender biases, food habits, dress habits etc. Africa cannot continue being an amusement park of stone-age for the rich travelers from other continents and their kids. Progress and Prosperity Always! Where there is no progress and prosperity there is no Peace or there is no Love. Prosperity inspires awe and respect of one’s neighbors, relatives, communities, cities, states and nations. Then those prosperous would have too much at stake to risk an attack even for religious or ideological reasons. Entire world thinks….”Is my neighbor/relative/sibling going to be so poor? If he is going to ask me money or enter my home to loot, what should I do? If he listens to me, how much can I pay him for serving me? If not, Should I teach him religions and ideologies that I myself never followed? Prevention is better than cure! What should I do to avoid him from now on?” That’s how majority of people think either in microcosm level or at macrocosm levels (village, city, state, country, world government (UN) levels)… Education, Entrepreneurship, Electricity, Connectivity and social modernization must be facilitated/encouraged especially in all poorer regions and poorer sections/communities of Africa. The poor must be encouraged to take up jobs or do businesses in Non-farming professions (with a delay/ban on mining as much as possible to protect their habitats/regions/cities/rivers/seas). Connectivity includes Modern Communication Systems like Satellite, Mobile phones, internet etc. besides print news media, roads, water-ways and railways. Education is not just being literate in English Language, marrying a muzungu or taking up a different religion but an overall Education aimed at building one’s own character, families, communities, cities/towns/villages and if given a chance the entire nation. I apologize for saying anything inconvenient. Majority of people in this world reason though they may be afraid to express themselves in public. Let us all humbly meditate and introspect on how to sow the seeds of hope ensuring peace, progress, harmony, prosperity and happiness in the lives of Africans with social reforms by the power of technologies. That said, I am not affiliated with any political party, any religion, caste, race, last-name, tribe, sect, clan, cult, creed, language, region, direction of region(N/S/E/W), last name, pincode, language, skin-color, hair-color, eye-color, gender (women including LGBTQ), media, NGO, business, any Government institution, dress habits, food habits, exercise habits etc.

Praise the Lord! Finally Black Africa can demonstrate that they too have the manufacturing capability to produce motor vehicles in their own country. As a 57 year old Jamaican I am very proud of my black African brothers and sisters. I am also very grateful that Nigeria made this achievement happened in my life time. My only question is why didn't the Government of Nigeria took the initiative to unveil and broadcast this very historical and significant occasion on behalf of Sub-Saharan Africa? Wode Maya is really awesome and thanks to him we get the opportunity to know more about Africa's potential and creativity, but I think this occasion deserves a bit more formality.

This particular company is in danger of being closed down by the Nigerian authority. There is a particular tribe in Nigeria the Europeans and the west always prop up for political and military control of Nigeria. the Fulani a nomadic tribe not indigenous to Nigeria. Their job is to dismantle every economic, technological, industrial and social progress in Nigeria and right now they are working overtime to dismantle this very company like they have always done. The Fulani, a Taliban styled Muslims is one of the smallest tribe in Nigeria but was handed the military and political power by Britain. Their deal with Britain is they give them political power, military power and international media blackout to hold the areas of Nigeria with progressive western orientation down in other to make Nigeria overtime a Muslim sharia state like Saudi Arabia while the British have total control of the resources in Nigeria. That’s why no Nigerian knows how much petroleum, gold, uranium, cobalt, cotain, tantalite etc. is being produced and taking out of Nigeria till today. The Biafran tribes that tried to break loss from these chains and form their own republic Biafra from 1967 to 1970. The Biafrans learnt the hard way the intensions of Britain when the whole world looked away when over 5 million Biafrans were murdered by a coalition of nations put together by the British from 1967 to 1970. After that genocide, the British and Fulani has kept a close watch on the Biafran industrial prowess because of the technological feat the reached in military technology during the Biafran this genocidal war. From 1970 till date, all seaports and international airports in the Biafran areas has closed down. All the industries, especially metal forming ones has been dismantled. The Biafran higher institutions of learning is closely watched and anything to do with science is discouraged. Only Politician groomed and blackmilable by the Fulani and western intelligent agencies are allowed to emerge leaders in the Biafran area. The Fulani and Britain panics whenever they see a company in the Biafran area with the capacity to employ over 50 people, so they always close them down with physically or through alien laws. They always fear we are planning to break away from the British hell called Nigeria. The people of Christian parts of Nigeria litter the streets of Europe and America leaving their land weak because they want to taste progress and the Fulani and Britain counts of that to continue their satanic work of the destruction of the black human because in that part of the world lies the strength of Africa. Innoson motors came about by chance when a Fulani president died in office and the then vice president and a Christian and a Biafran took over in 2010. It took the combined strength and the silent international political machinations of Britain, France, USA, Germany and etc. who forced unwilling China to join to force him out and install another Fulani man as Nigerian president in 2015. One of the tricks they used was forming Boko Haram, an Isis type terrorist organization with which the Fulani's used to force Jonathan to accept a rigged election with the threat of war. From 2015 till tomorrow, their eyes are fixed at closing down this very factory because the British and the Fulani sees it as a threat to their continued exploiting of Biafra and other parts of Nigeria.
