Exactly. And shouldn't the house itself actually be beautiful? The facade of this monstrosity is just plain ugly. There were some lovely touches inside, but a lot of is too modern and doesn't match all the rich wood. They should have given it a Tuscan feel inside and out. But honestly, I'm always so happy to have new AF episode, I'm willing to put up with an ugly house tour :)

Lavender is a light shade of purple. Purple is made from red and blue. You can adjust your shade of purple based on the shades (warm or cool) of red and blue. Signed, a former art teacher. 🎨

My MIL had an island stove. The vent is the long narrow strip that runs next to the stove. I actually felt like her side vent pulled smells down before they permeated her house.

Raised and born in Austin and I really hate what’s happening to it. Elon moves in and makes traffic worse then it already was. Celebrities are all moving in suddenly not because they don’t agree with conservatives, but because they don’t have to pay high taxes like they did where they came from. Well I guess Austin is becoming a hipster attraction from now on

It’s bigger then you think, non celebrities are just as worse. Their income to our income don’t compare. They come here and we Austin residents have to play their game because if I want a house unfortunately i have to worry about a prick outbidding me which wasn’t a thing. All they are doing is what they did in California in the first place. They are rising the prices and ruining it for everyone else, but who can get that their head? 😂 I used to be able to buy a home at a range of 250k to 300k now a descent house will cost around 500k to 600k and that is if a prick from California doesn’t outbid me.

Not just celebrities. Californians and New Yorkers are overrunning this city and it’s awful. It’s becoming a liberal shit-hole just like Los Angeles and San Francisco. High crime rates, insanely high cost of living (that keeps rising thanks to all the transplants), horrible traffic that keeps worsening, and homeless people everywhere. In a city whose infrastructure is already too small as it is. I grew up in Austin, it used to be a cool college town with a great music scene. It fucking sucks now. 👎🏼

I am usually not a fan of multi million dollar homes. They seem to want to get to ritzy or Hollywoody (is that even a word?) But this one is so comfortable feeling that, even though I prefer smaller living spaces, I definitely could live in that house. Feeling like you live in the country, but being close to all the amenities of urban life is a plus. I love this house. I love how it almost blends into the environment. In the nighttime views, the color of the roof is the same as the lake. Really cool.

Paint all the rock white and the wood charcoal gray. Change all the faucets and cabinet handles to brass. Paint an accent wall in the master bedroom. Make fun and the tile colors. Then flip that baby!

Color theory 101: Purple is a mix of primary blue (cyan) and primary red. Lavender is a shade of the tint or lighter version of blue (pale or powder blue) and a light shade of red (pink). So, lavender is a tint of purple (just add white until you get to lavender) AND a mix of light blue and pink (mixing the tints of red and blue that have already been lightened up). You are BOTH correct!

Lavender is a hue of color within the red-blue spectrum that is defined by a hex triplet color code of #E6E6FA, it is akin to the hue-based colors, like Pink and Violet, with hex triplets of #FFC0CB and #7F00FF, respectively. So what I’m getting is the house is worth (or at least seems to be worth) 3 million, and just because of the lake, the land is 8 million. Overpriced to me but I guess it’s demand.
