I laughed. A lot. Bdubs plus redstone is a winning combination. I want to see what Mumbo would do in The Chamber because he can't kill anything (not that I'm trying to influence what the tests should be...)

I love the chaos in the server. Simultaneously the boatem meeting is happening and Mumbo is falling into the void and stuff, so awesome

Observation 6: Zedaph has brought a second subject into the hidden chamber to glean information about the inner workings of Hermit minds. Here we see BDoubleO100 volunteer for experimentation. He has a vivid imagination, as we hear him talk of anvil students and grisly mining accidents. He also appears to be a bit of a trickster, changing the room in ways that weren't visible to observation (though a glance at the camera, in addition to the standard viewpoint, may have been helpful to Zedaph), and trying to sell a "stack" of minecarts. These experimental sessions are pleasing to me--they give us "inside information" without interfering in the Season Eight Experiment. Very Fine. I look forward to future sessions.

today we learned Bdubs has forbidden knowledge of the mythical stackable minecarts, also his boomer past may have impacted his personality more than previously thought, very insightful indeed!

I feel like this experiment really showed bDubs' strengths - being loud and confident, making things up on the fly, but not necessarily thoughtfully or accurately. The interaction was fantastic, I laughed.

BDubs could have sold minecarts as being a safer form of transportation than elytras, seeing that XB "experienced kinetic energy" during the pitch

with the results from the second go at the test chamber i am now even more convinced we need to see into the mind of Joe Hills. only science can quantify what exactly the Joe Hills Difference is.

BDubs did very well, but I was hanging out for a test relating to beds and clocks!!

BDubs self portrait was very beautiful, I loved his reaction to build a house (give him a week and he’ll build a mountain) and his sale pitch for everything ‘stop on in, and buy!’, his escape at the end was also brilliant. Another great discovery for science!!

The fact that nothing was said when Bdups placed the TNT other than Zedalph silently stepping back was hilarious

i know what i learned- i learned that bdubs got tested during the boatem gigabase meeting. why is that information important? i'm not sure. it does give outside confirmation that mumbo fell out of the world, which is interesting and fun, so there's some science there. in addition, it really says something about the vibes of the server at that point in time. i'm greatly pleased.

I literally cried with laughter multiple times during this episode. Absolutely loving this season. More experiments, please!!! Perhaps Rendog? Grian? SCAR?? The options are limitless, within the confines of the Hermitcraft whitelist.

I feel like the test chamber needs dispensers in the roof which drop things down on the subjects. For science.

It is fortunate that they did not have to be shown the TNT Incident of summer 2102 to fully grasp this necessity, although of course they have all heard of it. For their homework, the students have been asked to make a critical commentary on the younger Zedaph's experimental protocols and to assess how the inconsistency of testing may have contributed to the Cataclysm in Hermitcraft Season 11.

It would be hilarious if you would analyze the hermits as they were testing to see how they react if you gave them a negative diagnosis. Such as when you said bdubs made a skull, you ask him if he views himself as a skull or note to yourself that the subject views himself as a skull

Love this concept! Reminds me of Taskmaster which I’ve been obsessed with during quarantine. A duo of hermits that have to work together in the chamber would make for an interesting change to the format sometime in the future. Some kind of arbitrary point system would also be funny but that’s not really the purpose of “tests” I suppose.

my answers to the food question: Ender pearls = Chorus fruit (I know it's not a real world food, but that's what came to mind) Lapis = blue icing Scaffolding = the first thing I thought of was dumplings (I have no idea why, the best explanation I can give is because scaffolding is made from bamboo, which is eaten by pandas, which live in china, which is where some dumplings come from) Glass = I thought of the same thing as Bdubs (ice cube) Amethyst: those candy crystal things

My observation was that this took play when the boat em village meeting because scar died to fall damage and mumbo fell out the void

they should add a crafting chest. storage chest with a crafting table menu built into it so you can craft more annoying things like full melons/dispensers/etc easily
