I was going to say the same thing. My first thought was who built it for him with Daddy’s money. (First thought wrong!). I assumed.... He’s no joke and a great example of a driven person. Way to go!!! I’m sure his dad was involved, but not the “here’s your car or $$$” kind of way.

I picked that up. He says he got the nova done in 3 years. I have a 77chevy c10, and I’ve had it since I was 10. I’m 19 now. And my parents payed for everything and only worked on it when I was working on it. I had to pay back every penny. And I did so. But in these 9 years it’s still not 100 percent done.
It’s not always what you know, it’s who you know. You can not fault the kid for being “his son”. Sure he benefits from it. So??? He wasn’t home playing video games while daddy built him a car. He just had a great head start. How many of us have done that for our sons???
I thought I was young when I started building my 67 camaro at 28 years old I'm 30 now and my car is just finishing up now. It's good to see the young bucks holding it down in the hot rod scene. Beautiful car and beautiful job!
I'm 19 turning 20 in a few months and my first car cost me $8,990. Took me just over a year to save for it. There's no way i'm going to be able to spend the kind of money that this guy has on his car but it's such a great feeling when you work hard for something and see the end result. Can't wait to start making mods to my baby.
Sick Nova miss my 71 back in 1987 nobody was into this body style me and my dad had a 383 stroker built for it for a year I drove it around with high hacked sir shocks then one day I was building a model of my Nova that's when things changed the model sat real low so I had an idea my dad was like okay let's lower it at this time pro street was taking off but I had a different style in mind like my brother Richard turning a stock Chevy luv into a low custom mini truck so the Nova got lower to the ground with a 8 inch cowel hood 69 rear trunk wing customer front bumper splitter made Frome Camaro parts shaved all the emblems and side trim and side skirts with the rear exhaust cut out just forward of the rear tire and a cage that my dad built this all took place in Riverside CA people would ask what my car was and who designed it when I told them my dad and me always got all kinds of looks and thumbs up the Nova never got painted I was always a primer car with black wheels and tinted windows damn sure wish I still had that Nova
I have restored many cars in the past before the housing market crash in 07/08 but nothing custom like this. This is so Inspiring. This is the best version of a Nova i have ever seen, Period! Chip Foose is taking notes on this Nova! I absolutely hate Yellow but this Lambo Pearl Metallic Version of Yellow is Stunning.

Except for his dad's black one from a few years back. You can see it's got a lot of similar design and style but just toned down a little- which the colour more than makes up for. Great build

You are very clear with being grateful and acknowledging all that helped you along the way. I see the dislikes and the comments about how it must be money and help to be done in 3 years etc etc. I laugh because These people will always have tunnel vision and make excuses or reasons that make themselves feel better about their own insecurities, or even complacent laziness. Really it’s Simply because it’s easier to talk someone down, than it is to be happy for a young fulla made sacrifices for his passion. Sacrifices and passion are what built this car there are no excuses just hard work. I have had my HT since I was 15 now I have multiple cars and I’m grateful for how I obtained all my opportunities. I usually don’t comment online but this video is one of the most genuine builds I’ve seen in a long time.. watching this while im currently saving up for a nova myself. beautiful car despite my dream car is a road runner but yea no way in hell im going to find one in state would have to buy out of state and ship
Hey mate gorgeous ride i had a 73 nova it was a shitbox but it was mine...i traded my dad for an 83 iroc camaro i had fun with both of those cars don't ever sell that you owe it to yourself to keep that in the family.
