The lady at the desk is a little rude with the officer, and sucks at doing a pat down. I work at a juvenile center (central Texas) and have found that many juveniles commit new crimes, so they can come back to the center. They know they’ll eat 3 times a day, get to shower, and have a bed to sleep in. As I sad before, it’s a sad situation. I love my job, and really enjoy helping the young men that come through our center. Whether it’s talking to them for 30 minutes because no one showed up for visitation, helping them read/write, teach them what manners are. Just really helping them become a better person, and young men.

Picking up her loving younger brother at the game is not a crime.

I think the lady at the desk is great, she seemed comforting especially since being in that situation im sure it’s somewhat relieving and genuinely wants her to do better. It’s nice to see and know there’s actually good ppl in the industry .

That juvie intake officer seems like she genuinely cares, but I have no doubt she likely gets depressed & frustrated seeing all the kids that come through "The Jitterbug House" because they were never taught how to behave. I'd love to do a documentary featuring her & how she manages emotionally to handle the flow of delinquents.

For the folks commenting about the lady staring- This is often done during searches. She is basically being a witness so the cop searching cannot plant anything or do anything inappropriate, and the suspect cannot claim anything found was planted or something inappropriate happened. It protects both sides.

I remember her story,she was arrested at her H.School football game,she was leaving the school but waiting for her younger brother,she should not of been arrested not that my vote counts sometimes the system works and sometimes it does not..I understand she was on probation but just seems harsh they arrested her

I got arrested in high-school sophomore year. It wasn't NOTHING like this. In retrospect, I got lucky af.

Her and 4 other girls assaulted a single girl at school. She changed schools. She then returned to her old schools football game and was told she had to sit with the visitors. She decided to leave, her mom had dropped her and her 10 year old brother off. She called her mom and said she wanted to leave and mom told her too get her brother and would come get her from the parking lot. The friend she was with and her became non compliant by walking slowly and grumbling maybe even using profanity. They also did not leave immediately because mom tasked her with finding her brother who was inside the game so she was talking to people and waving through the fence. The police were patient at first but then cuffed her for interfering and disorderly. She seems to talk very slow and seems depressed and has impulsivity issues. The tags left on her cloths also indicate street behaviors. Remember Anti Authority is a dangerous attitude, Impulsivity, invulnerability and Macho are also and seemed to be present. I blame the mother for dropping them off and not attending or at least seeing them inside the gate, the mouthy friend also did not help. She was not charged nor did she get a probation violation and was released back to her mother after the hearing. She was also ordered to have an evaluation for mental health and family counseling with mom.

Juveniles also have the right to have a parent present during the booking process.... at least here in Texas

This one was a very sad one for me it just felt like crying for that young woman good good person we don't always make the best decisions in life so we can do is learn from her mistakes and try to do the best we can but she is loved I hope she's doing good in life is there any updates I do wish her the best thank you for the update and thank you for the video

I have come to the conclusion that inmates that have completed their time should be used by the JDC/JCC, supplied the education to fulfill Juvi PO and general staff within the detention center or correction center. Assumption is that these folks will better understand the youth's unique situations that cannot be taught in a college or university classroom.

It's sad when young people have no self esteem and behave like rude animals, continuously getting in trouble and going thru the system like a revolving door. The parents can't be much better.

I saw the follow up video to this young lady seeing this video she isn't helping herself too much. I do however feel both her previous Headmaster and the arresting officer were not entirely honest in her case. She only went with her friend and brothers to watch a football match

She will be in and out of the system for some time to come. She knew she was not allowed to be where she was. Hope she can change now.

I watched the 'detention hearing' for this young lady. The arrest was somewhat bogus and the adults involved acted more like the juveniles than the youngsters. The principal who instigated this should have been a bit more mature and handled this better. The officer who told her to leave was more like an agitator than he should have been. All in all, this individual got a raw deal. She actually seems rather normal considering all that was stated in the hearing. She got into a fight at school and got probation. Then she attempted to go to a football game and was not allowed which led to this 'disturbing the peace' charge. The officer and the principal should both grow up and try to remember when they were younger.

So that's the dirty cop that arrested her, because her "feet weren't moving fast enough" for the officers liking. Shame on this guy. He is what gives law enforcement a bad name in this Country. It's like the time two dirty cops pulled me over for making a u-turn in a parking lot. They stopped me and blatantly asked, what were ya doin robbing that attorney's office. Than he grilled me like he wanted to be a detective so badly. All I had done was made a u-turn. Thsn he got smart and said well why don't you hire an attorney than. Little did he know, I'm an activist, meaning I expose bad city officials to the general public. I'm sure by the next day, he was informed, oh you pulled over so and so, man your names getting put out their now. Fire them and take their pensions. By the way folks, I'm a white man in America, it happens to all colors, not just black. That was a predominantly white town too. I've seen the roles reversed hard in cities that are predominantly of color and have predominantly black police forces, where those cops treat whites worse than blacks. So for all those out their that wanna try to play the race card in America, it's false. Law enforcement equally violate all colors of race in this country. You have your majority of descent police and you have your baf apples. That's the way it is. The small % of bad apples give all the good cops a bad name. Shout out to Milltown New Jeresy police for violating my rights that night and for doing that same thing to many others on a regular basis! They should rotate cops in and out of inner cities from Suburbs, it would give then a much better aspect on a real high crime area vs a very low crime area. Remove municipality limits and make it a county wide force with area rotations. The system would work far better. Lastly I'm a right wing conservative, still have the same feeling as the left on this issue from yeara of police harrassment and unfair treatment. Reel in the corruption and baf apple's!
