Emmy Award-winning Calamari Productions has been specializing in digital content distribution, TV series and documentaries, and independent films for over 20 years. Calamari holds the unique distinction of being the only production company in the world with state Supreme Court camera access inside the closed world of juvenile courts, detention centers, and juvenile prisons. For the past two decades, the footage featured on this channel, and hundreds of other stories have been locked away inside the closed doors of America’s detention centers. Until now.

In 2020, Calamari is opening up the vault. Thousands of hours of never-before-seen video content, some up to 20 years old, is now available to everyone. Those who have been locked up, and the stories that have disappeared with them, finally have the chance to see the light of day. The footage seen on this channel is raw and sometimes uncomfortable. But that is how life is inside.

Morris definitely a chill kid who tolerance level is low. He seem quiet & he’s attentive. His anger derives from the exposure to the stupidity of others either towards him or in general & he basically admitted to it to his mom. You can tell he’s comfortable opening up to his mom. His mom seem like she’s there but isn’t for him , she has more faith in leaving him in the care of others to assess him than her own ability to do so & he probably feels like that but haven’t had the courage to say it yet directly. The lawyer said it the best by stating he understands that “ there isn’t a solid support structure at home for him…”. My opinion his mom don’t want him, probably feel like he deserves to get what’s coming💔. That could be based on hidden resentment towards him or his father. Be surprised on how many kids get mistreated by they mom or dad based on the relationship with other 🤦🏽‍♂️. He said that the only thing he wants is to be with his family then started crying. That sounds like he feels his family isn’t there for him enough as he wants physically & emotionally. I made that conclusion bc prior before him being arrested he was free, free to be with his family. Makes you wonder if that what he truly wants & had the freedom to obtain then why is he still in need of it? That is traumatic for a kid to want. Not get. Then have to figure out why. especially when family is supposed to be that main source of support . I’ve seen kids punch walls lockers even tried the floor but those actions never was credible for arrest , in fact it was encouraged to do so the wall floor or locker rather than another person. I don’t think he’s crazy , or need to be put on meds, in fact I believe him , it’s only gonna make it worse. This kid is hurting eternally from the lack of love from ones he expects the most from. Genuine acceptance, someone who’s not just hearing him but really cares enough to understand is my take on his issue .

Did yall know God's Son Jesus Christ Died On The Cross and Rose Again From The Dead out of The Tomb on The 3rd Day. He Died for Everyones Sins even Mine. He Paid the Horrible Price we should have Paid. But He Paid it So We Would Have A Way into Heaven. if We Repent for Our Sins and Believe in Him and Serve Him and Obey Him. So I Encourage Those We Are Living In The Last Days I Encourage Anyone Not Saved Now Its the Time To Repent And Live For The Lord Before Its To Late and God's Final Judgment Comes. After you accept Jesus Christ into your heart and you Repent for Your Sins Your Name Gets Written Down in The Lamb's Book Of Life. and You Gotta Continue to Serve the Lord and Repent for Your Sins all the days of your life until Jesus comes back to call His Church home. Because No Ones Perfect we all Sin. but we need to Not Willfully Sin. and i will admit i have willfully sinned multiple times and I feel Guilty About it So I Repent we Were Made sinners because of Adam And Eve. but we dont need to Sin on Purpose. But We Sin All The Time Because we Humans get Angry and hurt people. and Are Hateful toward people when God commands us to Love Our Neighbors. and Pray for Our Enemies. there is all kinds of Sins. We Are Allowed to Be Frustrated at Peoples Actions. Without getting Angry and injuring People and breaking Stuff. Or Name Calling thats Wrong to. Heaven And Hell Are Real... and after Jesus Christ comes back and calls His Church home. Alot of people will be left behind because of being to caught up with the world and not believing in God. and other stuff And During that time the Anti Christ will reveal himself and Lie to People and Say Hes Jesus Christ. and he will try and Deceive the ones in Israel. and in turn Try and And Deceive the Entire World. and he will try to force People to Receive a Chip in their Right Hand or Foreheads.The Anti Christ hasn't Revealed Himself yet Though. and If you havent noticed they are trying to push for digital currency but we dont know who the Anti Christ Is. Only the ones left behind will know unless people make things right with GOD. Revelation 20:11 KJV And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. Revelation 20:12 KJV And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Revelation 20:13 KJV And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20:14 KJV And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. Revelation 20:15 KJV And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire...

We're happy to report that Miles was eventually successful in gaining a sentence modification several years later and was released in Dec. 2020. Delani got off with a slap on the hand. AMAZING how some people get the benefit of the doubt and others are set up for failure. in this story ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OEcJAMYDmTc.html Morris is a young boy with learning disabilities and probably on the spectrum. He punched a hole in the wall, smoked pot once in a while and sort-of ran away from home (stayed in the neighborhood and came home often. He was not given the benefit of the doubt. He was thrown into juvenile detention and his obvious disabilities were never addressed. He graduated from juvenile detention, couldn't get a job (remember, intellectual disability) and began stealing and eventually went to prison. Imagine how different Morris' life would have been if he were given half the benefit of the doubt as Delani - a liar and a thief.

What state and place is this interview at?
@tampapropertygirl3422
@tampapropertygirl3422 День назад
This is what happens to certain people, especially those with learning disabilities and developmental disabilities. Young boys get sent away for punching a wall (not walls, plural, like the judge said), and he did not hurt a person. Certain people get sent away for smoking pot and breaking curfew. Even the judge said that the 16 year old boy was a criminal. Yet, rather than address the real issues, certain boys are introduced to the system. Now, they are defined by the system
@tampapropertygirl3422
@tampapropertygirl3422 День назад
Morris obviously has a learning disability and he is possibly on the spectrum. He has unaddressed developmental disabilities coupled with raging hormones of a 16 year. If his mental issues were addressed, and if he could learn a trade, or focus on some activity that improves his confidence, he could turn his life around

I don’t believe him for a second. He is dangerous and he should absolutely be in prison for most of his sentence if not all. Being young is no excuse - either that evil is in a person or it is not. Doorbell ditch and Tping a house is typical behavior for a teen; murder is not. People are naive and believe that they are righteous for siding with the perpetrators of crime but what about the victims and their families? He is not a victim and his sentence is just.

Young people don’t do crime for the same reason as adults do, they should not be imprisoned for 60 years. In Canada, the maximum length of youth sentences ranges from 2 to 10 years.

What broke my heart is when the first guy said since his father died in prison and his mother was killed by a hit and run car that his adoptive family wasnt good to him. And then when he said when hes free he doesnt want to return to the same environment and fucked up peers and what not. It looked like he really wanted to change. Most inmates, i noticed that when they get out they wear being out of the pen as a badge of honor like its a street cred to seem tough or they just turn back into their former selves because of the circumstances. Very sad.

Man i feel kind of bad for Charles. He most likely was released back into the same toxic area and environment that landed him there in the first place. And what sucks is out there on the streets your peers say oh dont fuck with him, he did time in the pen. As like a sign of respect so maybe he felt like he had some cred and went back to his old ways. Shame. Im happy for Colt and Miles though. Read up on Colt for a while now. His old cellmate, Anthony is still doing time. Hes been sentenced to 60 years for shooting a rival gang member. Hes been in There since he was 15. Hes 30 now and hes on the right track, in good programs, in good classes. Just hope he stays on the right track.

@elaineharwood3639 - thank you for watching Anthony's story. Yes, he is leading a life of purpose and doing everything he can behind bars to better himself and atone for what he did. That's not easy when you have a 60 year sentence as a young teen. As for the victim's family, we have heard from one member and they understandably are against him getting out early. There is so much pain all the way around with cases like this. Our goal with all of our videos is to hopefully help prevent others from going through what the family has gone through and likewise, what Anthony and his family have gone through. Thank you again for watching.

Brother the drugs is no good option the drugs will destroy you. You literally cannot forget who you are. You do anything to get your drugs? And then after years you will have a habit when you do anything for the habit you don’t need that to be more respectful and more strong, to be clean you to say yes I’m clean. I didn’t do nothing. I got the control not drugs over amigo control I got control and I don’t want to use it. No more. You need to say this word to yourself. Remember all your life.

@CalamariProductions 3 дня назад
@Tomford101 - Thank you for watching and commenting. Research supports your comment as it relates to juveniles. Kids, especially, are capable of change. Their brains aren't fully formed until well into their 20s. While that doesn't excuse the crimes they commit (and sometimes they're horrible ones) it does give a window into *why* they do the things they do when they're young. Impulsivity is a key factor and as they mature, those impulses become less and less. Again, thank you for taking the time to watch.
