In this video, for the 25th anniversary of Kurt Cobain’s tragic death, I’m spending the night INSIDE his apartment on Pear street in Olympia Washington. I take you on a tour of his first apartment that he lived in and also into his second apartment (where he roomed with Dave Grohl) which is located in the same building. Every inch of the apartment is covered as I made sure to show everything that a Nirvana fan would want to see. I also show you a secret rehearsal space located on the property that no one else has seen before.
This video is for all of Kurt’s fans and I truly hope you enjoy it and remember Kurt, the boy from Aberdeen with the blue eyes.

Soon there will be regular uploads there as well , including extra footage from this video.
Kurt Donald Cobain (February 20, 1967 - April 5, 1994) was an American singer, songwriter, and musician, best known as the guitarist and frontman of the rock band Nirvana. Cobain is remembered as one of the most iconic and influential rock musicians in the history of alternative music.
The unassuming house at 114 Pear St NE was erected around 1914 and is a triplex, with two apartments on the street and a small third apartment in the rear. Musician Kurt Cobain lived in this house between 1989 and 1991 and, according to sources, wrote about 75% of his total lifetime output here. The house has become a Mecca for Nirvana, Cobain, and grunge fans, although it is not inventoried or marked in any way. Nirvana’s first hit, “Smells Like Teen Spirit,” was inspired by graffiti written on the wall of this apartment by Bikini Kill artist Kathleen Hanna.
On April 8, Cobain's body was discovered at his Lake Washington Boulevard home by electrician Gary Smith,[ who had arrived to install a security system. Apart from a minor amount of blood coming out of Cobain's ear, the electrician reported seeing no visible signs of trauma and initially believed that Cobain was asleep until he saw the shotgun pointing at his chin. A note was found, addressed to Cobain's childhood imaginary friend Boddah, that stated that Cobain had not "felt the excitement of listening to as well as creating music, along with really writing [...] for too many years now". A high concentration of heroin and traces of diazepam were also found in his body. Cobain's body had been lying there for days; the coroner's report estimated Cobain to have died on April 5, 1994 at the age of 27.

As a teen I remember I had a dream of Kurt, he was glowing and sitting on a rock, looking at the sky, smoking and I tried to get close to him but I couldn’t move, I was like paralyzed and tried to scream to him but I couldn’t , all I saw was the smoke of his cigarette. Beautiful dream

Hi Scotty. It was wonderful messaging you on your live stream. Your responses touched my heart. I was very happy that you got to spend the night at Kurt Cobain’s apartment on his 25th Anniversary. You were not afraid to show your emotions for the man you truly loved and appreciated. Lighting the candle to honour him was the sweetest gesture. Just something I always do on Elvis’s birthday and death anniversary and for other loved ones too. Kurt’s home was so simple and comfortable. I watched a few of his interviews recently and he was just a regular guy with no airs and graces. God bless him. May his soul Rest In Peace. It was a real nice video and a great tribute to Kurt since you took all of us with you to visit his memories. Thanks Scotty I was happy in your happiness. You take care. Stay safe. Love from all of us. ❤️✌🏼💕

Thank you scott. This video means so much to me. Kurt was and is a big influense in my life. I listen to his music daily. That was one of the hardest days of my life when he died. Kurt was misunderstood by some but the ones that got him knew how gentle funny kind he was. Many had hard upbringings just as he did. His songs werent just music many were life stories. He was an amazing person. He battled depression. Just as i do and. But he found ways to deal with it and alot of it was music. His music has helped me alot. And your videos always help me. I to have been through alot. But i found away to get away from all the negative and i only shoot for the things in this life that make me happy. Seeing your videos really help me. I dont open up to many people and maybe one day ill tell you what ive been through and who helped me get into cooking amd wanting to be a chef. I remember it too. I was 18 and almost done high school. He died April and I was done in June- July. The kids would play Come as you are in our cafeteria and all the kids at my table were all Nirvana fans, me included and we would feel terrible. That Monday was so hard to go to school after hearing he died. I remember hearing it on MTV news by Kurt Loder and that was on a Friday I believe. My sis and I went to this kids' school we always hung at on the swings and were crying and she wrote something in the dirt there about Kurt. I'll never forget. One of the saddest points in my life, along with losing my dog of 18 years right before that.

What an awful day. I remember it too. I was 13, wouldn't be 14 till November that year. Oddly I was eagerly counting down the days for my mom to drive to California from the Seattle area to pick me up to live with her again after trying a few years with dad. Just weeks before I moved to the area Kurt was gone suddenly. So many different kids crying at school that Monday, literally everyone was seemingly effected. I was in the end of my 8th grade year. It was ALL anyone could talk about, we were all just in like a stunned daze.

I believe if Kurt and Tracy had married..Kurt would still be alive. Pointless thing to say...I know. But every interview with Tracy I think, " Damn Kurt...she REALLY loved you man." She grounded him. Helped and almost mothered a more lost and introverted Kurt. Good Lady! Side note: on your rain comment..I love rainy days. Seattle would be a Heaven for me. Every person who possesses the genuine, artistic charisma Kurt did seem "larger than life" or far away from the mundane. However, they typically FEEL very ordinary, awkward, and alone. Absolutely, he was like a superhero to our generation. It was amazing how they just blew through the music scene turned it upside down and inside out, knocking the previous rock gods off their pedestals. I felt similarly about David Bowie, there was something almost supernatural about him, like he knew secrets of the universe and was keeping those secrets hidden to reveal when we could handle it. Kurt and Bowie were such incredible impressions on this world, eternal.

These videos mean so very much to those of us that will likely never see these places with our own eyes. Even if such a time came to pass, there will have likely been changes that entropy often brings to such sites that cause them to diverge from what they once were. It can only be original once. Thank you - From a Gen X'er that now has more life behind than ahead.

You seem more hyped up and happy being in this place then when you have your coffee or energy drink. The other Scott seems like a really nice guy but when I first saw him I thought of the guy who worked in the book store in the film You've Got Mail. This was really cool Scott thanks again buddy and be safe out there. You truly have become an excellent citizen celebrity. Positivity peace and love!
