At present The Old Trafford Stadium is still incomplete & needs is an upgrade of the SBC stand & East & West quadrant to be completed first before you can sort out the roof. This Stadium has a lot of potential & can be one of the best stadium in Europe if not the world with the original design cos it has character & authentic with the potential capacity of at least 90K, all it needs is an refurbished & some TLC. Take Note: The Stadium Must Not Exceed the rail way track! Man Utd 's Old Trafford 'The Super Bowl of Stadiums known as 'The Theatre of Dreams' is unique & a Colossal of a stadium. Please Share!

@@jintsfanWe Disagree! Man Utd's Old Trafford Stadium known as 'The Theatre of Dreams' unique in style is the Super Bowl of stadiums & is potentially The best Stadium in the country, possibly the world. The Owners were the ones who stop the Original project by using the excuse of the rail track complications. As stated previously, the design has already been laid out for completion of the stadium by original designers, to finish before the train track but the owners compromised by installed the 3rd tier cos the fans were complaining about the capacity at that time. Alls well we like to think that once the owners depart or bring in SJR and his team we can address the layout for the necessary expansion of the South stand, East & West quadrant issue ASAP because Wembley or Man City's Etihad is to far to deal with the fan base, we're sure that can be achieved with minimal fuss, going by our walk around the stadium experience by observation. The existing Old Trafford is a dump. A hotch-potch, mis-matched dump of different stand designs, and, from the air, hideously ugly. They should build a new stadium from scratch.

It needs to be the highest capacity stadium in Europe if not the world, I hear people saying the new stadium will be 80 or 90 thousand seats...that's not enough and we need to make a statement with it and have a capacity of 120,000 and for there to be decent leg space at your seat and the outside of the stadium also needs to be spectacular.
@NanobanaKinako

That's kinda hard to achieve considering the biggest stadium in Europe is Camp Nou and the biggest in the world is in Pyongyang.
@SuperMagnum83
@SuperMagnum83 3 месяца назад
These days with modern seat size and spacing requirements you are not going to get 120K, you can't cram small seats in with no leg room like you could in the 90's like clubs did after the Taylor report. A 90K capacity today would be the equivalent of 120K capacity 30 years ago in terms of scale.

Personally i would love to keep Old Trafford but its foundations are getting weaker. I would prefer the team to play elsewere as a temporary stance. Demolish the stadium and build in its place just go wider and further away fron the rail line. Infact build the stadium around the rail line and create a tunnel section built into tbe stadium for the train to stop at Old Trafford for fans to get off, walk some stairs into the stadium.

Where could United play while OT is being demolished? The Etihad is the only nearby ground to house 50k (until City finish their north stand) Can they stay in a rotting OT while a new stadium is built alongside- they might need to play in an unfinished venue (eg a clipped corner to allow for OTs demolition)

I've been seeing comments about our club buying stadiums but not having enough money to buy players. However, we have actually been one of the biggest spenders in world football over the last 10 years. The issue is not the amount of money we spend, but who we are buying. We tend to go for players who are past their prime, such as Cavani, Ibra, Martial, and Sanches, or ex-heroes like Ronaldo. We even brought back Johnny Evans recently. It's a bit disappointing, to be honest. The reason we spend so much money on these kinds of players is that we are trying to attract some of the best young and hungry players out there, such as Bellingham, De Light, Haaland, Mbappe, Nkunku, Vinni Jr, and Pedri. They see our team, our manager, and our owners, but they also see Carrington, our stadium, and the bad weather all the time. Meanwhile, other top clubs like PSG, Real Madrid, and Barcelona have state-of-the-art stadiums that blow ours out of the water. Even Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund have better stadiums than us. All in all, it's an awful mess. No wonder young players are hesitant to come to our club. What do we expect?

I say no to a brand new stadium. Make the current one better. This is sacred ground.

Build a new train station at E1 car park, rebuild E2 car park with 4 underground floors, rebuild Sir Bobby Charlton stand replica of the Sir Alex stand, 2 new quadrants in the se/SW stands, new electrics, lick of paint will be about £1 billion A new stadium will be soulless and will have no history, costing £2 billion

Just wait a bit and we'll be able to use Cheaty's stadium when they're booted out of the PL. Just dreaming 🤣.

Ground share with a London team after all that’s where the majority of your supporters are.

We want an Expansion to approx 90K capacity, Modern refurbishment & a Levelled Retractable New Roof! There's an completed stadium design on WHF!🔰@UtdWesleyy with a comment stating: So apparently we are looking at an expansion of Old Trafford. It’s been talked about for years but put off because of the complications around the south section of the stadium but if we do manage to do it…🔴 2 Tier SBC Capacity: 88,000+ We're sure that can be achieved with minimal fuss by observation cos its already laid out going by our walk around the stadium experience. Take Note: The Stadium Expansion Must Not Exceed the rail way track! Worth a view, please share!

Rich people are rich = cos they spend other peoples money :/ like Mr Sunak sat on 800 million pounds ,lives off the interest & lives a blinding good life ! They dont NEED a new stadia , they need to throw the Glazers in the nearby water! plenty of scope & room there
