Go to Hobbiton. Its a nice time. Its lovely how its set up. The pub is actually a proper building and nice inside, not just the facade like the hobbits houses. Its also a good little workout with a bit of hilly areas.

As for Hobbiton, up until now all hobbit holes are just facades from the outside. Recently they've built, completed & opened a whole hobbit home with all the trimmings on the inside. How one would view it I'm not sure, but if it's actual hobbit size..it might be an issue for some.
I've been to Hobbiton..in Mata Mata (I think that was the area) Do you know if the full trimmings are at that one,or another place. I loved the place,they did it really well. It really felt like you're in a fairytale/ magical land.
@@lusimyer Hobbiton the filmset itself is actually on a farm on the outskirts of Matamata. The building in town is just for marketing, promotional purposes. All tours themselves are bussed in from a cafe, carpark waiting area near the farm. This is where you'll see the full trimmings of what you see in the movie. Although only outdoor scenes of the shire were shot here.
If only they still did the tours where you can set foot on the island I'd definitely go😍 I know it's a risks but it's a risk I'm willing to take. Iv always been fascinated with volcanos 🌋 also RIL to the ones who lost their lives in 2019s eruption🥺
