We are a young Australian couple raising our six beautiful children aged 9, 8, 7, 6, 6, 6! That's right.. with the surprise addition of our sweet baby triplets, we had six children in three years!
We are now happy to announce the twins arrival five years later after the triplets in October 2020!
Life can be pretty hectic sometimes, but it's also A LOT of fun!

Instead of an aisle of shelves could you add a counter height bench in the middle? That way you’d have lots of extra storage underneath, could use the surface to package things up, and it would still seem nice and open as nothing would be added at eye level

I second the advice of the other comments and suggest you could build a little "packing island" table in the middle. It would free some shelf space from the packing materials and you could have a space to set out and pack the orders!

An extra isle in that corner would be nice if it had a table on top of it, so you could wrap and organize all the products and boxes. Loved your store! Love your family!

Such an interesting video, seeing how you run your business. As a former Preschool teacher in the US, I can honestly say that I love all of your products. Ever time you've shown your kids' playroom, I've imagined having these wonderful toys in my former classroom. I too love the Usborne books...they are wonderful! 💖

You stick the nicest items. I was wondering if the middle could be a large counter top for packing your orders and stocking boxes, tape, files and still addition stock and then that could open up room on your stick shelves. And IKEA drawer for files, take scissors or even smaller stock items. Only a suggestions because what I see you doing is already soooo impressive.

Congratulations for your successful little business. Running it while simultaneously taking care of 8 - soon 9 - children sounds incredible to me. I'm french, and I noticed that a large part of your products are from french brands (Djeco, Janod) ; I was surprised. (I love these brands too, by the way.)

I always wanted 10 kids. Didn't happen, but am enjoying your growing family. So beautiful. Thanks for showing us around your business. It's wonderful that you're able to work it from home. The kids and work are all integrated. Wish I'd have figured that out when I needed to go to work, and had kids at home. What about a foldable table for packing orders....?? So you can save more space by folding it back after the work is done....

You can place a low counter/table like a cooking island with storage space under the counter, like a working table.

@@lifewithbeans If you want a name for your baby you could call her Genevieve if it is a girl because it is a beautiful name or Christian if it is a boy and your baby may like one of those names how they are or so that your baby might make it shorter if it wanted to and it has great meanings and it is a nice long name for your baby to have and would be great to have good pronunciation skills and your baby would have more letters to write that gets more fun. What do you think.

Is it hard to keep the kids out of your storage area? I bet it would be hard to have all those toys and not want to play with them especially if they don’t already have the toy. Hope you get lots of orders this holiday season!

Wow that's awesome I don't have any little one's anymore so never thought about going to your shop. I'm glad you got a house that allows you to stay home and run your business. You are very brave raising that many children and run your business 👏 🙌. I would of loved to run a business but with being a single Mom raising just 3 daughters I couldn't make it work with insurance and losing money the first few years possibly. I just love your family. You show us a glimpse of your lives and we can't wait for the next video.

For the middle of the room you could get a rolling table with storage underneath. Maybe. Cause then it keeps the open feeling by not being tall and cluttered and if it has drawers or something underneath you can keep smaller bits and pieces.

Hello 👋. I just Randomly ran across your Facebook page and watched a few videos. I didn't even know you had a store! I seen the room re-dos...and was mesmerized by yours kids toys, clothes and bedding. I'm expecting my first grandkid (s) ...(first ultrasound showed 3 sacs). But waiting for second ultrasound. I would absolutely LOVE ❤️ some of your products. They love elephants, stars and moons and the colors tan , and sage and darker green. ✨️. I'm in the USA. Funny, when I was a kid I was always drawn to want to visit Australia some day. Well, I never got the chance. I got alot of autoimmune diseases, and raised up a non verbal autistic child to fully verbal, extremely articulate, high honor roll grad...drives a car..now expecting his baby!!! (Married of course)! Replay does have the best dishes. We have several sets for the munchkin and have even discussed getting the bigger plates for the grownups! I want to get some of their toys as well.

Just something i saw the other day that if you use those packing bags and dont stick it down as close to the opening as you can people can get their hands in and take stuff without opening the bags. Worth sealing it then if need to put a sticker or tape to make the package smaller

My idea is it would be great storage if you guys put in some kind of low line storage/workbench I’m the centre of the room. That way there is more storage, a work bench you wrap orders or extra storage on top, can still move around the room and can still have great energy flow, air and light.

Why not put in a low bench type shelving in the middle? Like and island but with built in shelves, that way it won’t swallow the room and you can use the bench top to pack and sort etc

I would add a table in the middle of the room with storage under it Like get 2 cube shelf’s and put them back to back them put a table top ontop If you have an IKEA the 8 cube Kallax shelf’s would be great

How do you organize your stockroom, in the sense that, how does the computer know when something is sold out, or a specific color is sold out? Do you input how much of each items/colors you have at the same time as you place the order to restock? Do you restock only when you sell out or before then or does it depend? Do you work directly with the companies to buy in bulk or do you just make super large orders from them (I can’t imagine it’s the latter lol)
