this place will be a nightmare to keep up. even the light bills would break me. the yard work the pools will take a few million in just a few years. it's to much for me as they could have someone live'n in the house with them and not know they were there. yes, i'v read of the big house'es have'n live in's and so scary to me. it's what they want but to much house to many rooms and two many people know'n where i live. no thanks i'll take a small house any day. good luck with the whole thing it's already cost a million and sure hope they will make the money they need. they already complain about body guards costing an arm and a leg

i really like the warmth of this house and color palette indoors. The beautiful tuscany like greenery and light stone walls is breathtaking. And the pool looks like a resort in bahamas. Overall very ethereal and beautiful!

It’s perfect for them no one should sit around waiting to build a starter home young or old. Unless they are owners of a land property is not even worth going through the agonies it entails. The construction work levels and architectural headaches will be enough as notably will gauge them for every penny and time constraints management will be very crucial. For a young couple with growing family they need their own forever ready made home as millions always do. It’s imperative they do time doesn’t wait for no man life as hectic and full of stressful panicking to be waisted, they don’t have their precious time playing around but laying enough roots for their growing family and the earlier the better. Bravo to them for choosing such a grand mansion and considered having enough energy to work hard and maintain the mansion to its optimal lifestyle.

It's too much house for me personally. Wouldn't know what to do with 8 bedrooms, and 16 bathroom's. I probably wouldn't use most of Harry & Meghan home. I wouldn't need but 6 rooms in the entire home.That's the living room/sitting room only if I had company, the bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, outside patio and pool. Three bedroom's with 4 baths would be great for me along with a pool, and game room would work for me.

Harry and Meghan have an excellent taste. This house has character and its not boring. The hand craft stones, beams, arches, the manicured gardens etc. After Harry and Meghan renovations, to put their stamp, this estate will be the best royal homes!!! Love it. I now understand why they preferred this home as their main home base than than Frogmore Cottage in UK. Montecito oceans and mountains views is paradise!!!! The weather is also fantastic. The Sussexes were lucky to get that beautiful property.

@Nic...I insist "the livin'" would've been much easier had they purchased the Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy Onassis mansion on Martha's Vineyard if only culturally, where people don't boast of having an "ex." There is the £5.2 million deposit (paid) and I think the Mortgage + Interest + California property taxes + Maintenance (can't see Harry/Meghan doing gardening) + Staff (can't see HarryMeghan doing cleaning) + Security with add up to a hefty annual wedge. They are not receiving British taxpayer's money anymore and the bank would have wanted assurances for a loan that size for people who are not "working" yet, and who are still financing Frogmore cottage in England. That may have required a guarantor for the loan. Wow I'm breathless after that!

Damn!! . I'd be mad too if the people i tried to marginalize and destroy escape the cold lousy cottage i put them in, paid back is renovation money and bounced to this heavenly looking sunny place after signing multiple multi million business deals. I'd be incandescent with rage🤣🤣

But what's the point, if the public hate Harry and his wife. They don't have the public blessing and respect. The Royal family are very angry and sad for the shame Harry brings on his family.
