Inside The Big LED Matrix

I am using white acrylic glass especially suited for LED applications (Plexiglas LED White WH14)

Thank you! The grid was done by myself. I cut black acrylic glass and the diffusor into many pieces and glued them together. That was really challenging.

Thanks! My controller (Wemos D1 Mini Pro) uses 3.3v logic levels. I am using the logic level shifter IC (3.3V to 5V) to ensure reliable connection. It might work without the IC but I want to be on the safe side.

Thnx for your reply. Just checked datasheet of 74hct125 . So it can be used one IC for all 4 segments. Am I right?

@@dar3408 Yes, that is possible but it is coincidence that there are 4 segments and the IC has 4 channels. All 4 segments have their own controller and level shifter (only 1 channel is used). Basically each segment is a fully independed LED Matrix. There is no data connection between them.
