Employees who 'ooze hospitality' are in hot demand at The Cheesecake Factory where perks like BMWs for its general managers have helped it land on Fortune's list of 100 Best Companies to Work For.
My dad, mom, and my mom's cousin still work here and the best company to work for. Sadly I being apply to work here but I have no chance of getting in🇺🇸
Too bad they do not follow the “ culture” they espouse... They have a basically “permanent” ad for Managers in the industry’s leading publication-Restaurant News..all you need to know. Paying a few more bucks and leasing a BMW is not how you create a culture. Ask any CKF Ex-Manager what their life was like. You’ve been warned.
As much buisness as they do, as much profit as they make, the least they could do is pay excellent wages and benefits, even if they don’t care about setting a good example, for others in the industry as they say, or for other restaurants and corporations, they could atleast do it for there employees. They could easily afford to pay there works if one had to estimate 20 dollars an hour starting out, and excellent benefits comparable to the best in Europe for workers. 20 dollars an hour these days wan’t make anyone rich, but atleast it might provide most with a little bit better standard of living and for some alot better, and have more money for necessities like healthcare, living expenses, maybe even a little for savings.
Not sure what CCF was paying 1 year ago when you made this comment, but today I was hired as a prep cook for 18 per hour! All health insurance is a scam, but their sick time and pto policies are better than other restaurants I’ve worked at. Also, they’re going to provide me with my own knives, which is unusual for a chain, but very refreshing!
@@skramzgod I quit after two weeks. As a prep cook, i was scheduled in at 6:30am and wasnt really allowed to leave until not only my work was done, but also the work of those around me. The space was small and cramped, hope that's different at yours. The music the other prep chefs played was so loud you couldn't hear yourself speak. My coworkers were unable to train or help me too much because we didnt speak the same language, yet they expected them to be able to train me. I had several 12-14 hour days. Besides the first few days, I was offered little in the way of help or support in my position that I was barely trained in.
@@TheMelody1118 Jesus Christ lmao. I didn’t expect much since it’s the restaurant industry but that sounds awful lol I would of quit too. They gave me PM shifts so hopefully that makes it better 6:30 am sounds strange for a place most people goto in the evening. Now I just hope my coworkers speak English
@@skramzgod I know, its a lot. You will have an easier time on PM, its not quite like morning shift. As much prep is needed for how expansive the menu is, prep cooks are needed all day, but prep cooks are mainly AM in any other restaurant setting. With these big honking chains, they need PM people.
As an European this is just pure hell xD be our slaves and be happy about it, oh and you get healthcare so you are forced to work for us, but if u get problems, boom you out xD
This restaurant job is purely for uneducated people who are having non professional way of life..i too worked in this scrap for the past two years to hell lose my valuable time in an extremely rude management who takes care their people as similar to slaves..i threw up this scrap job now i am an entrepreneur..alhamdulillah
+Talisha Robinson hmm I have an MBA n i accidently entered to this company..in middle east there is a job contract for minimum 2 years..so i was clueless for those 2 years and after then i cleared out...i pointed out not only mine, experience of many who worked in this scrap..
+Patrick LeTourneau y shud i b jealous for this scrap job n bmw..now i own a bmw on my own and I am a financial analyst n i run my own firm..so ur statement is worthless..i just pointed out how our management enslaved a large group of people with their management style(scrap)
It might have good food but working there sucks the employees don’t get asked to go on breaks when they should the discount is trash and isn’t that much I don’t recommend it to anyone 👎
That's a reason why a Chef should never give up his recipes ,folks like you come along and just make them your own and brag about it . Test Kitchen ! what a Joke you are for Restaurants what the Chinese are for Rolexes .
Interesting interview but ask them what about the snake and the satanic symbols that are inside the building, red lamps with a cobra around, egyptian symbols and the ceiling light paint on the dining are with all different religious symbols with the sanake as the main caracter? God bless you all.
yeah cheesecake factory foods are nasty and over price. the only thing that i like are the cheesecake which is also very overprice. fucking $8 for 1 slice WTF
