The heat went from losing tot the hawks and almost losing to the bulls in the play in to now being in the nba finals. From 3% prior to this series and now to finals. Crazy journey 🤯

Man, the Celtics play some of the worst basketball I've ever seen. Charles spoke the truth during halftime - why on earth do you continue to take horrible 3 point shots?? Marcus Smart grabbed a rebound, dribbled down court, and took a bad shot. The VERY NEXT POSSESSION, Brown does the same thing. White was the only player with enough sense to mix it up a bit. The Celtics deserved to lose this one.

This is the problem with the NBA and 3 pointers thinking this is the way to win like GSW. Yes they have Steph and Klay, but they also have ball movement that gives them easy shots and defense. Three pointers by themselves have always been unsustainable. Live by the 3 die by the 3.

Spoelstra is a far superior coach to Mazzula and that was displayed pretty thoroughly tonight. MIA can get easy shots, has a mid-range game and a good playbook with rim cuts etc. BOS has no plan other than fadeaway threes.

This Celtics team reminds me of the 2018 Houston Rockets, a team which was extremely reliant on shooting 3-pointers. Like what was said in the video, you can’t solely rely on 3-pointers. There needs to be a balance between shooting 3’s and driving to the basket/2’s. This mentality didn’t work with Houston and now it also didn’t with the Celtics.

Great point by Chuck. "Great players can make tough shots, but you can't survive on tough shots". You can apply it to so many players who only rely on their athleticism and have just not made it to the next level in terms of generating easier shots for themselves

The adjustments of the 3's were Boston's downfall. When your under pressure you don't shoot that many threes. Boston looked like they rushed the 3's and afterwards it went down hill.

Denver is going to be different for Miami. If it doesn't go well, just remember Miami was #8 seed and took the most different path to get to the finals, defying the odds. I suppose they could beat Denver, but if not: GREAT SEASON!! Really impressive. Jimmy Buckets isn't doing it alone, but the man hustles and nobody can doubt his heart. He goes ALL-IN.

I really like Chuck’s perspective on coaches. Great players have almost all game plans suited for their styles so they just need to do what they do, but other players may really need coaches to direct, instruct and set plans for them, assisting them in finding what they could bring the most to the team(s) and thrive on the confident through doing so!

Charles is 110% right Shaq. Well said Charles, Joe allowed it, now he did cut it short by calling a time out a few times in game 6. The reason guys do that is. 1. The 3 is sexy and the short game is not 2. Afraid of injury, going to the basket puts you at risk, you got to have heart to go to the basket. 3. They don't trust the coaches system in other words they don't trust the coach.

I agree with Chuck about Mazzulla's answer, the reality is Tatum and Brown are too good to be shooting side step 28-foot bombs instead of getting a high % look. I get it Tatum was hurt this game, but that's been their identity all year.

Now this is what im telling all the youngsters who did not know basketball, the current era we are watching are bunch of jacking up 3's, who live and die by the 3's and this is the playoff testament for it. GSW this year struggle in their 3's as they are the heavy favorite over the Lakers but the lakers pounded them in the paint, now Celtics from 1st round to ECF they are so inconsistent shooting 3's which affect their overall game. Even lebron shoot like 0/20 all series of WCF before he made one. Kids nowadays must go back and watch the old tapes of 80's and 90's on how to execute a right play. If you go by analytics see what happen to celtics a 97% heavy favorite to win this series but shooting 3's become their enemy

Celtics are who we thought they were, pretenders. If we learned anything about this team from last years finals it's that they vanish in big games.

Tatum was a shell of himself the minute the playoffs started...Dude shrinks when it matters. He really excels in all star games when no one is trying but him!

Live or die by the 3 has never been truer. Coaches, managers, and the like in every sport are there to access the situation, give feedback to the athletes and make changes. I never saw a change implemented the entire game. Coach will learn from this and be better. I hope he is still around next year.

It looks to me that Jimmy and the heat just play with the Boston the last three games to get to the same spot last year then finish them off. Look at Jimmys smile before the game its like he saying "here it is,its time to finish you off" 😂. Love the Celtics, but "we shot 21% from 3" the reason they lost was because they kept shooting 3's. Jayson got hurt. Jaylen tried to be the guy when he was selling. D White seemed to be the only guy he knew what to do beside JT and Rob. Team needs to not keep shooting the 3 when it isn't falling.

if mazzulla still thinks they should rely on the 3 that much he needs to go home and watch next season from his couch.
