@@royberg6657 Over the past decade you've probably got used to one or two teams dominating the league, superteams, a superstar like LeBron who always got the edge above others, etc. But then people were complaining about it too, they wanted more competition. Now we got closer games, competitive series, team effort, some of the best players getting eliminated, etc and people consider the remaining teams mediocre and worse than previous seasons. It's all subjective and so many people already take as much pleasure from this postseason as you do from NHL.

Give them some squads and Steph wins 7/10 times and beats KD in a series. Best way you can look at it. Steph's gravity is the most underrated trait in all of basketball for sure, but KD's ability to give you a bucket from anywhere basically anytime is right up there.

They should create an award just for Looney cuz he worked his ass off this year.

I have fond memories of ripping my real brass knuckles cart and watching the Golden Knights make it to the finals in their first year. The Bulls The Spurs in 2014 and Heat in 2012 or 2013 could beat this current Warriors team. They would need KD for them. The Cavs would even have a chance because their perimeter defense ain’t as good as it use to be. This is probably the worst defensive unit they had goin to the finals but as a whole they are a dynasty.

Recency bias. 11 titles still count. You can only objectively play against your era. The least teams, the more competitive the teams themselves were, a.k.a. Super-teams when only the best of the best enter, it's like getting into any of the top 10 best universities in the world--only the best of the best get in, while lower tier people don't make it. Or as Russell says to Jordan that if his team played against Russell's era, they wouldn't win the championship, because Steve Kerr who shot the series winning goal would be in the stands, i.e. he wouldn't make the any of the teams in Russell's era. Russell and the Celtics were heads and shoulders above everyone in their era. No other superstar and team comes close.
