One of the best games of the playoffs so far. Both teams played their asses off, but it's obvious that the Warriors are a stronger unit with more history and chemistry. They turn on that switch anytime they need to. I can't believe how strongly they have returned after these last two years of struggling.

It's not surprising considering all this youth got all that experience over the last 2 years because of Draymond Curry and Thompson's injuries. That was the best thing that ever happened to this team. Now I know some people argue well Curry Thompson and Green are getting older And they missed two pivotal years and chances of the end of their prime And yes that is true However as I said this allowed these rookies and youth to get all that experience and shine and because of it they now have a blueprint of who they're going to keep together and they have the makings of a dynasty where they can win three in the next six years.

Memphis was the toughest matchup for warriors cause they play fast aggressive and physical.. the mavs don’t. I’d like to see how they play against Boston but no way Boston beats them I think Miami could give them a run for their money but ultimately lose in 6

Teams try to play “warriors basketball” but they don’t realize gs makes a concerted effort to always be moving and cutting for easy layups to open up the half court offence which in turn leads to more looks from 3. I’m a raptors fan but really appreciate how well gsw play basketball they really play the right way and adjust so well they find new ways to win all the time
...plus they dont have the personel to do it, at least on the offensive side. the league just got a break with the injurys to Curry, KLay & KD past two years
I realize GSW fans are spoiled. I went to Game 6 Dallas at Utah, and watching it made me just go, "Eeew," the entire game. I didn't clap/cheer once for either team as that game was ugly. Utah was worse, coughing up a stinker cuz they didn't show any urgency at Dallas ending their season in their own gym. I then realized that the Dubs are the only team that plays the game as intended, the way it's supposed to be played... as a *team* sport vs. star iso with a "2nd option." Also developing chemistry is underrated and has no price tag... you can't _buy_ it.

As they say in boxing: “styles make fights.” Warriors are easily a better matchup for the Mavericks than the Suns because the Suns had so many holes on both sides that they could exploit with mismatches. The Warriors just have so much offensive firepower that it’s hard to keep the ball out of their hands

As a spurs fan I have to respect golden state. Their big 3 has been together for years and they are clearly the superior squad. Coach Kerr has definitely taken pages from Pop’s playbook. Kerr won a ring with Pop back in ‘03. These Warriors will more than likely capture another title…
The Warriors did well, but it all came down to composure, and we didn’t have any. We are 8-2 against them in the regular season in the post-KD era. We were getting open looks again and again but just kept bricking.

Winning 4 straight against any team is really hard, not to mention in this scenario you have to beat a team 4 times that you just lost to 3 consecutive times. Extremely difficult, even on 2K lol
Curry played better this game, he was efficient as hell + 11 assists. Luka played well too but he was not that efficient+ plus he took way more shots ( he had to because he has no all star teammate).
Warriors...don't take them for granted. What a special group of basketball players. They just play the game the right way...and that's why they're going to win it ALL
I really can't understand how they talk about Mavericks' letting the clock down. Guys, they are letting the clock down on purpose. That's their defensive strategy. How could they can't see that. They want the play in a slow pace game where they can use Doncic more minutes in better shape. It's not that hard to see it and they were 2nd best team in regular season in 2022 and they eliminated Jazz and Suns by playing like that and still they are complaining about it. It's unbelievable. They can't defend the paint, they can't rebound well and corner shooters choked this night. That's it. How could choosing a slow pace game made them worse? They played whole regular and post season by that strategy and that worked. If you are saying they shoud push the game more because Warriors will crumble and shooters will shot better, that's not happening. Best shot is open corner three where you set your feet and they missed those threes. Also Warriors are better in transition than Mavericks. If you take risks for it, Warriors will just score more than Dallas because their roster isn't fit to that type of game and Warriors roster is.

Particularly against the Warriors, Chuck demanding a faster pace with Kleber+Powell combining for 3 defensive rebounds in 32 minutes says a lot about his inability to read basketball after all these years. They would lose by 30 every game. And what about the "Luka got all these points in the last quarter when the game was over". They were down 5 with 1 minute to go. That's Bullock or Kleber making 1 freaking shot in this game and make it a one possession game with a minute to go.

These guys appreciate greatness when they see those winning but they can't when they don't win. Funny enough, Charles Barkley is peak example of great player who didn't win. He should be the one who should give credit these type of players' greatness but he always bad mouthing losing part even they play splendidly. They praise Warriors now but i remember perfectly they were saying fast paced 3 point shooting teams can't win anything because play offs dictates slow paced post up scorers before Warriors won their first championship. They put that as a reason while Warriors were losing against Spurs and Clippers. Even after they won in 2015, they said Warriors won by luck, not because they played well.

This team continues to amaze me, last year they looked in disarray and with the ups and downs of James Wiseman, it looked like possibly years before a chance at another title. A season later everything seems to be coming together perfectly. Pooles emergence, Wiggins stepping up, Looney having a injury free and amazing season, GP II's contributions. All this and the other contributers have set this team up for another championship. Noone imagined this. So far they have looked like the best team in the NBA.
As a warriors fan, I really didn't expect the mavs to go down so quickly. They were awesome against the no.1 seed Suns and I thought they'd get at least 1 or 2 games. It's looking like a sweep tho. Warriors might take it easy game 4 so they can close it out at home tho.
I thought it was going 6 but after game 1 it was obvious the Grizz were on a different planet than the Mavs. It looked so easy for the Dubs offensively compared to the west semis. We might look back and think dang that Grizz team was the second best team in the league
Warriors handling business. Can still plug in some gaps. Jordan Poole can be more disciplined on defense. Klay can start off stronger by moving off ball getting better shots and not try to shoot his way out of his slump. Curry actually played a great game. But there were some poor decision making at end of 1st and 3rd quarter where he shot two from the logo which led to Luka last second three and free throws. That’s 5 points that you can’t get back in a closer game. Those things need to be cleaned up in a matchup with heat or Celtics cause that series is TOUGH. Mavs wouldn’t matchup well against either of those teams. I see a matchup like that lost in 5. So anyways good win but can always aim for better IQ basketball.
JP will need some time learn defense. Celtics or Heat will come out in 7 tired while warriors have some good rest. Hope GP2, Otto, Iggy come back healthy.

In reality, all NBA players are amazingly skilled. But you can't just plug and play any player in a team sport. I can't imagine D-Lo or the player the warriors traded to Charlotte(I think) having the same impact with the Warriors in these final... why? Character and attitude! Wiggins is GOOD, in every useful skill, but his attitude and character optimise his skills for the benefit of the team. Best pickup. Even if Someone has better numbers than Steph in the Finals on his own team, really you need to multiply his stats by however many guys play on him! eg.
