Agree. I feel like the Suns became too complacent. Ending as the number 1 seed in the West and then beating the Pelicans, 4 games to 2, and then beating the Mavs in the first two games. I feel like, in their head, they were unbeatable. They took the Mavs unseriously, even if the Dallas team brought them all to a Game 7 because they probably thought they had the advantage of home court.

That plus people coming back from injuries. Kawhi for the Clippers plus fully healthy PG. MAYBE Zion for the Pels. MAYBE Jamal Murray for the Nuggets but I think Porter will definitely come back. A fully healthy Ja and Steven Adams for the Grizz. And that's just talking about injuries to fully established teams. Both the Rockets and Spurs are still rebuilding I think. With the Trailblazers they might be rebuilding as well. Don't know what will happen to Dame.

Yeah I agree. They definitely have to make some adjustments. I think they should part ways with guys like Jae Crowder, Cam Payne, Elfrid Payton, and Tory Craig (if they can). I would bring back DA & Javale. From there add some shooters. It would be the Suns best interest to keep most of this team intact cause losing a player like Ayton would be catastrophic. He’s only 23 & there’s still a ton of room for improvement. He’s not replaceable. As a whole they had a great season it’s just unfortunate it ended they way it did.

Regular season we looked like well oiled machine that couldn’t be touched with a 12 foot pole but the playoffs showed no mercy.

I’m not saying throw him a max but I think they should pay him close to what’s he asking for. He’s definitely got a lot to work on in the off season but there we’re some improvements this year. I think the Suns messed up by giving CP so much money. For a player who’s getting older & has already declined since turning 37 just a week ago it makes you question why they offered so much. I agree with everything except the bringing in another backup PG. Have CP3 be the backup PG coming off the bench and start Cameron Payne who has been doing decent off the bench. CP3 is getting older and burnt out and Jason Kidd exposed that in this series by having put more pressure on him. In all honestly I believe it started taking a toll during the series with the Pels for him. I truly believe CP3 will be a lot better off the bench at this point and still be able to do his thing. Think Ray Allen while he was in the Heat but in a point guard role. And if people disagree with starting Payne then do a trade and bring in another PG to start.
