Fast forward to 2018, Kobe wins an Oscar. So, on Chuck's comment on what Kobe is gonna be doing after retirement: He's still gonna be winning. Edited: I wish I didn't have to fast forward to 2020. RIP Black Mamba. For all the arguments out there to me you are the GOAT...your heart and good deeds speaks a lot about the person you are. Win more rings and Oscars up there.🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆.......
God bless you Mamba, i hope he's winning where he is now. So sad. Prayers to fam and friends - you will be in millions and millions of peoples thoughts tonight. Rip.
So stoked to hear shaq anoint Kobe the greatest laker ever, because he is. Magic, shaq and kareem were all top ten all time players, but Kobe was the greatest. The fact that both shaq and magic share that sentiment makes me rest assured.
+EveryDayIsAGoodDay he hasn't dominated the way shaq did (neither did anyone) and I think he was more individually dominant in the playoffs than magic was, tho it's very close. However, none of that even matters. Wade is the greatest heat player ever, but lebron is the best player to ever play for that team. Wade means more to Miami than lebron does. Kobe is in my opinion the second best player to ever play for la (behind shaq), but he is the greatest laker of all time.
I would argue that Kobe is the greatest player to have played for the lakers however I do think that the greatest laker is Magic Kobe was a better player however when I think of the lakers I think of magic before I think of Kobe
+SaiyanDrums I like how your avatar is a saiyan powering up but also Vegeta's hair, and seems like very tasty salad dressing all at the same time. And I don't think Kobe would be too hilarious, no... No.
i beg the differ.the ppl who saying that are either his fans or ppl who said it at thw moment because hes the current laker. the greatest laker will always be magic & kareem even west
+flex1481 lol he has more than just a hobby...he recently started a quasi-venture capital firm that reviews and seeds startups........and he has some film producing company....
Ben Bleier yeah i agree, sometimes Hus one on one interview with Ahmed. Are very interesting to watch. Kobe became a very wise speaker compared to his younger days
Kobe even said, as much as he'd love to do it, he doesn't have the patience for it. He isn't a TV guy lol. Though if he made guest appearances that'd be nice!
Chuck was right, we never saw Kobe do any other hobbies outside of basketball and we ended up being completely wrong. He became ana amazing writer and story telling that led him to an Oscar, became an entrepreneur with businesses, became a great basketball coach, and best of all an amazing father! Rip to one of the greatest!
man i miss kobe. when i hear his name i think of the last 20 years of my life and how it was my better half. plus a great era in the nba with a fav like kobe.
I love you Kobe....thank u for inspiring me and millions to just enjoy ball and to go HARD in everything...I'll miss u bro in the physical no doubt, but its ur spirit that I'll forever champion and keep with me like the air i breathe....God bless ur children, wife and all of those who love u....rest easy champ #8#24 ✌...p.s. Remember to say and show ppl that u love them. Life is but just a gust of wind my friends
Melvin Sprewel Kareem is in the GOAT debate but I have to deduct his Bucks achievements and consider that he didn’t do much as a Laker (team-wise) before Magic got there.
RIP Kobe. Greatest Laker of All Time. 5 Championships, 4th on All-Time Scoring list, 18 time All-Star, 81 Points, MVP. Man was a phenomenon that inspired a generation of kids all around the world who are playing basketball right now in the NBA. Thank you for the endless scoring games, your effort to make fans tune in and watch you, and your will to win that made you who you were. #RIP24
I think my favorite thing about this interview is when after Kenny says “can you imagine our show with him (Kobe)” at 6:24 you can see Shaq kind of look down and imagine the show with Kobe on, and then laughs at what he pictures
Die hard Kobe fan but he would not fit on TNT...he will probably be an NBA exec or an owner but out of this era it would probably be KG to blend in with them boys
Kg? I can't see him as a TV host at all. Of that era maybe vince carter or Ray Allen. KG is in the Kobe mold. I see him as a coach or some type of exec position.
Kobe Bryant was an amazing player. I saw dude blossom from 1997-2016. Ive criticized him when necessary but even with all the drama, ego, and soap opera crap he still finished his career with 5 rings. Man if he humbled that ego a little bit he wouldve beena great leader as well. But it is what is. He's a future hall of famer no matter who he played with.
He was a leader. It's just that he had his way of doing it. The type that will push you to your limits no matter what it takes. Pain and gain type of motivation. You had to earn your spot and spotlight the way he earned it and if you're the soft type and let's be friends and have fun kind of person before even being significant to your job then it's not for you. Look at what happened to the likes of Nick Young, Robert Sacre, Jordan Hill heck even Jeremy Lin. Where are they now? Lin was a one hit wonder but after NY he was a journey man and out of the league.
Kobe would have fit anywhere he wanted to be cuz he had the intelligence to do it. Ernie Johnson is as serious as they get and he runs them streets in Atlanta 🤣🤣🤣 .... so Kobe definitely would have fit. but Kobe was a busy man.
+Ahmed Ali absolutely I been a Kobe fan since 2004-05 season when I was in 2nd grade, Kobe was my favorite player throughout elementary school, junior high,& high school. he retired my freshman year of college. I'm happy I witnessed an unprecedented player growing up.
+jonathan fanfan He won his first ring when I was 7 years old. I've been lucky because my first year of recollection of his career was the 98-99 season. Trust me, the guy was arguably the best player in the game back in '99 and to me the best player in the game by the '00-'01 season. No disrespect to Iverson or McGrady but the man was amazing to watch when his footwork was 2nd to none and he was the best athlete on the floor. it wasn't fair.
@@user-dq9so8nq7t stfu...I don't respect a player who doesn't stay on the same team either good or bad seasons. Kobe didn't runaway even when he was hurting he stayed...Lebum is just literally a bum, he's homeless.....fundamentals, talent, footwork and hardwork Lebum is not even close to the Mamba
It’s different now that he doesn’t have that after basketball life. With how wise he was, I believe had so much great things left in his tank. Sad to see, prayers to family #KB24
I think it would be cool to hear Kobe talk basketball, but I don't think his personality fits Inside the NBA. These guys are more about joking and entertaining instead of talking ball for the most part, and as much as I love Kobe and everything about him, I don't think he would fit in at all and it'd just be kinda awkward
Absolutely not his personality in game of basketball and his personality in lifestyle is different if you were a real kobe fan you'll know he know how to joke a lot and that's why they invited him . They know he would be a great fit
I will MISS Kobe. So much...that I wanna cry right now. T_T That's it. I have nothing else to say except: THANK YOU, Black Mamba...for the best years of my life. =)
Funny looking back, no one knew what Kobe would do after basketball because that was his life. But little did we know he had huge plans. He’s a great mind and wish him success. 👍🏼
