I would go with the fujicron lineup (23, 35, 50 f2 primes), because they are cheap, available used and, most importantly, will give the beginner the basic understanding of focal lengths. If the beginner likes one of the focal lengths, they will change of the fujicrons to a more advanced version. They're easy to sell and buy on the used market

Agreed. This is a great lens and inexplicably ignored by many, apart from your good self that is. Not only do I get great images with this lens, it’s built like a tank. I can’t recommend it enough

Id would have chosen the old xf 23 1•4 as my first lens• great versatile focal length with a wide aperture••never know when you need a lens performs good in low light and this lens is very capable of doing that••plus its half the price of xf 30 macro••by the way looks wayyy better than xf 30 on xt and pro bodies

Do you or some one recommend me non fuji lens which can resolve 40MP on xh2 camera body . I am finding fuji lens very expensive Sigma or viltrox
