Fun little thing a lot of people missed during first watch, (including me!) in the "Dancing boy" scene at 19:50, if you watch the whole scene, when she is in the laundry room in the beginning, that same little boy is standing on the left completely still, facing the wall. It's so casually done she doesn't see him, as well as most of the audience. Would recommend rewatching that scene to see, it's super creepy 😁

I'm normally not a horror movie kind of person, but this one lacks gore so I actually enjoy it. I saw it in the theater and I was genuinely terrified. In a good way. The way you want to be when you see a scary movie like this. The suspense and the jump scares when they suddenly show villains are masterfully done.

Horror is my favorite genre, but I care 0 for the ones with gore,people doing horrible things. Saw, Scream, Texas Chainsaw, are not for me. I love a good ghost story or creature feature. Don't care AT ALL for movies about demons or exorcism, but i liked this one.

@@colterwilliams3152 definitely not, but that's why I love movies like this so much. They have to find more clever ways of scaring the viewer than using gross out tactics. It's the reason why I love The Mothman Prophecies. Very creepy and suspenseful.

@@susanalexander6721 horror as a genre tends to rely heavily on gore, which is why I don't like horror movies 9 times out of 10. I love a good ghost/haunting movie or anything with aliens or mysterious creatures. I can't think of too many movies I've seen featuring demons or exorcisms, except for The Exorcist. That movie really scared me. I saw it when they rereleased it in theaters with a friend who loves horror, but even she said it was a bit much for her.

Oh snap! Y'all are watching the super scary and insane movies this month. I always get confused with this movie and the Conjuring movies because the actor that plays the dad in this movie was also in both the Conjuring movies. The walk back and forth on the balcony is the most disrespectful jump scare to date in my life lol. I didn't notice this the first time seeing it in theaters, but the next time I saw it, I was SHOOK when I noticed the little creepy boy was standing in the corner facing the wall BEFORE she went outside and heard the music come on. He blends in with the clothing in the laundry room. Easy to miss, but such a nice creepy touch.

My boyfriend and I went to see this for my birthday when it came out..... I love this movie! The scene where she's listening to the baby monitor.... Looking up the stairs...... The whole theater was quiet..... I had my legs and his lap scared to death...... Nobody in the theater was making a sound..... He called for hard and grabbed my leg and I screamed to the heavens.. everyone in the theater thought it was hilarious... Not me

Kids skulls are alot softer than ours. My son recently clunked heads with another kid at school couple weeks ago. They never saw a bump so they didn't tell us. He woke up 1 am screaming of a head ache , vomited and had a fever. We took him to the doctor and he had a minor concussion. I was so upset because he went to bed and I had no idea.

PSA: There's nothing dangerous about sleeping after a concussion by itself. Passing out/losing consciousness is a serious sign that needs to be addressed (internal bleeding, swelling of the brain, etc.) They don't want you to sleep because if you're already asleep, you lose a vital way of monitoring symptoms.

I had a friend that was able to Astral project. I was one of the few people he talked about it with. He did it while in bed at night. At firstl he was loving it, positive interesting experiences. He would see himself in bed and then what felt like fly away. It scared him when he had trouble finding his way back once. He chose to not do it any more, but for a while had a hard time stopping it from happening. He doesn't like to talk about it now. He became interested and had done a lot of research before he started. He said it wasn't easy at first, the first time it was the most wonderful experience he ever had. He came to really fear it over time, it was hard to stop from just happening spontaneously. This is one of the most intelligent, straight people I have ever known. I never for a minute doubted him. A bit of research, many people do it, religious practice it.

I hate to say this for Asia's sake, but there are 5 Insidious movies. 1 is an origins story, 3 are of the O.G. family you just watched, (one of those three recently came out this year). And then there's 1 other film that was a different family. But they are all connected in the same universe because of the investigators. The 4th Insidious is my favorite though, it's the scariest if you ask me. Insidious The Last Key!

This is my favorite horror movie. It doesn't need the gore to be creepy in a different way. I also think its just a really creative idea and love the set design for The Further. And the sound design with all the out of tune piano sounds and violins is great. It's so eerie.

I actually used to be very good at astral projection when I was younger. I know a lot of people might not believe in that kind of stuff but it really is a real thing. And this movie actually comes closest to what it's like. I stopped doing it though because I went too far out and found some dark entities that I really shouldn't have been messing with. Something in that place, shall we say touched me for lack of a better expression and ever since then I refuse to go back. I still feel it lingering around me from time to time. I'm glad you guys got to watch this movie it's one of my favorites. Can't wait to see you back in the next one. Love you guys have a great night y'all should really check out Jeepers Creepers 2 next for the Halloween season. And once you're back to doing your regular I would really love to see you guys react to The Crow.

a side note, .... orville redenbacher makes the best microwave popcorn (the movie theatre butter kind) a little expensive, but its the closest thing to movie theatre popcorn or popping it on your own. great for scary movies.
