I think he wanted to be assured of being the #1 back in a more balanced attack. I think he felt the Buffs are very likely to be a pass heavy teamuch like last season. Then coach brought in all purpose bigger backs. I think Alton, Dylan and Sa'vion all felt the same. They all felt the room was full and didn't need another back to potentially take some coveted touches away. Charlie stayed because he's that type of guy to just play hard regardless with a chip on his shoulder. That's why he finally got a full scholarship.
He went because Prime has never used the type of back he is as an every down back. Dylan can’t push the pile. He was going to use him as a pass catcher and special play type guy.
