So just put the aluminum one in the pan and connect to the original seal? Nice! ive ordered an aluminum but haven't really seen a video or found anything that explains where the aluminum is gonna sit, thanks alot, this will help when i get it! i have the A20DTL i guess its the same thing there?
hi, i have a constant vehicle service message coming on dash,, (no low oil pressure) when pluged in i get code P06DC engine oil pressure control solenoid valvue control circuit high voltage! / is this the same problem with my insignia too? or could it be just a oil pressure switch thanks 180k KMs
Hello, could you explain if it's necessary to add some seal and if so where to put it?. I guess you're pointing to the junction between your part and the oil lower part, but also between your part and the rubber?. I want to buy it, just awaiting your explanation. Thanks
Hello, I am from the city of Vratsa, Bulgaria and please excuse me, but I will write with Google translator. This action, which is being done in the video, was invented by me and my colleague turner back in 2015. , it does an ideal job, but the way it is shown to be glued with silicone is not correct at all. There is no need for this adhesive, and if a piece of silicone is torn off and it gets into the oil pump, you will still have to repair it. This sleeve is properly sized, for each suction unit, the material must be selected for thermal expansion, must be tight. We have also developed an improved version, which also has a rubber O-ring, for better sealing. Don't lie about buying the bushing as a spare part for people who are just traders and understand nothing about what they do !!!
Theoreticali you are right, but no silicone at all in the way of oil. It sits only around and works like seal. This my simple solution works well are tested and cars run more than 250000km with it.
Hello, the Fiat Multijet Engines 1.6 have this problem also? They are the same as CDTI from Opel. The 1.6 CDTI does not have this problem, only 2.0? Thanks a lot !!!
I have certain doubts, Is the old plastic seal used in the video or is it also replaced by a new one? What is the point of continuing to put the plastic seal, it will deteriorate anyway, right? Do you know if Opel has improved this part for the 2.0 CDTI engines after the A20DTH and A20DTJ? If so, maybe that upgrade could be used for engines with this fault. I'm thinking of buying a 2013 Insignia with 77,000km and replacing this part before the problems start.
I had this problem, only once computer report low oil pressure. Oil pump is problem, need to change this robber part. I had 1000 euro cost of reparation of engine.
HELLO SORRY I HOPE YOU DON T MIND FOR SO MANNY MESSAGES BUT I FOUND A SOLUTION TO SEND YOU THE MONEY FOR THIS PART , I WROTE TO YOU A MESSAGE ON YOUR E MAIL .
@@aivarasberneckis6892 It does not solve anything it relies on rubber gasket just the same as the stock seal. Any seal will be subject to detonation particularly if diesel gets in the oil through poor DPF operation. Also it now has 4 sealing surfaces not 2 as per stock.
@@alex3240 Infully aggree here. The original problem is a brittle gasket. Of you just replace it with an new one, the problem is also solved for about 150.000 km again. Adding this machined part does not provide any advantage over the simple replacement of the gasket. In fact it brings in more failure possibilities, as there's an additional surface without any rubber seal. Of course the problem is gone, when you replace the original gasket. With or without the additional part.
