I watched the video of when the police pulled him and his brother over the first time and thought it was one of the most bizarre videos of a police stop I had ever seen. Then I watch this news report and it somehow gets even stranger. Since when do we start listing a murderers “stressors” and giving them excuses. Some weird stuff going on in this town

The parents lived in a separate house so they knew nothing plus they were in bed and the brother was probably in his room on RU-vid or Facebook and I'm sure had no idea his brother was in his room preparing.

Screw why he did it. The important question is why when pulled over CLEARLY drunk and agitated was he allowed to go home with his Mother and only the work truck went to jail? Was the truck drunk? Pushing and shoving, resisting, disturbing the peace, public intoxication, any of those can get you a free night in jail.
Kinda feel like dude is like that at baseline so maybe that was his typical behavior. Not saying he shouldn’t have been put in jail but seems as though they’ve seen him before and I feel like this may have not been his behavior at his worst.

From what I saw in the video dude had an attitude problem. He kinda got beat up a little bit at the bar then he got shoved on his ass by the cops which pissed him off and he was drunk and high, so he did something stupid! How can he be struggling with his sexual identity if he’s getting a woman pregnant?
When the cop shoved him and he fell back he was joking, acting like the cop really hurt him when it was nothing. He popped back up and they all laughed about it. You thought that was serious?
That traffic stop was horrible blood is on those officers hands. I guarantee that if those cops didnt act like absolite goons and attack that man during that traffic stop this doesnt happen. That doesnt excuse what happened.
The officers involved in the initial traffic stop started taunting and insulting him. They are just as complicit in this incident, watch the body cam. Those officers pushed the lunatic over the edge
The one video detail they left out is when the officer pushed the guy backward 10 -12 feet and he landed on his ass . That's of course not justification but it's an important detail after all that went on that night.
i just watched the bodycam footage. nick said so many things towards officers, it seemed as if he was insecure about a few things except for his height. the last 4 listed in 'stressors' (3:03) seem about right.

3:13 oh so he had problems that he created of his own doing, got it. We all have stressors, whether we create them or not. These aren’t reasons for him to do this. And he humiliated himself during that traffic stop. That seemed to be his personality at baseline.

He was dealing with a lot of debt, it means he owed money and he couldn’t pay it likely because he had a job that didn’t pay very well. Likely due to him not having a higher education. Also he was struggling with feelings of being homosexual
