The ease of installing an external mic and the fact the accessory is less than $20 is a major reason why I am getting the Ace Pro rather than some of the other options.
Does it really capture stereo channels? I was really disappointed when buying Insta 360 One X2 and found out that with external mix, it could only capture mono.
Do you mean the new one they released recently? I have it and it's terrible. Super low volume and the ports are placed badly. The Ace Pro adapter is far superior.
Question I used the ace pro to record a live gig. Connected my music pack to the mic adapter, It got everything from my in ear mix but it also recorded everything the audience was hearing? GoPro had “Line In” option, just wondering if yall have any tips on just getting my in ear mix?
No, unfortunately, it won't work with usb c mics. You have to plug the receiver into adapter. However, it will pair with some Bluetooth mics directly like the dji mic2 transmitter.
