I love your tests. They are mostly on point. The X4 is interesting but there are some things which you do not test or mentionend: 1. How is it in low light? I saw some footage in your video around sunsettime, and it looks really grainy. Is it like this? 2. Is it waterproof or resistant? It could be interesting to go outside while raining (in the night) 3. It seems it is stutter sometimes when you rotate in the videos. Is it like this in the rendered file, or is it because of the RU-vid compression algorithm? It would be great if you could answer these questions because, as Contentcreater myself, this is maybe a good additional tool
the "720p" parts are when I'm zooming close into one bit of a 360 video. think about how much the camera is grabbing when shooting literally everything around you. y'all so impossibly demanding lol 😂
Ben Sir, Thanks for your great Review. Often enjoy 360 degree youtube videos here ( of world locations) Like you say, bandwidth and specs are improving......even for consuming 360 type content. thanks Ben, Ben
Definitely to expensive unless it makes you money or can simply afford it, but Ben that's why your channel is so awesome, u kept it real, x3 is just as 👍🏾 👍🏾 👍🏾
If you can shoot in 8K 360 can you see 8K quality when you review the footage? I'm very confused about the downgrade to 4K if you want to export it. Anyone know about it?
8k resolution is for a 360 video meaning the 8k resolution is covering the entire 360 scene. so it is only possible to see 8k in a 360 setting. for outputting to a "normal" video it is just 4k. this is how all 360 cams are.
I need to correct you (it took me also a bit to understand): It isn't much of a software-thing that the selfie-stick isn't visible, it's mostly physics. Both lenses have a distance. If they'd both shoot just 180° the stick isn't visible. Like you almost don't see your own nose. Or if you feed a turtle and you're too close, the turtle can bite you unintentionally and miss the food as it doesn't see your finger or the food. 🤪 Pay attention not to bend the selfie-stick. Ask Bill Stoppard! 🤭 After he crushed on inlineskates his selfie-stick was very well visible as it was bent! P.S.: You see a "bent" stick as it is too long at 5:33.
It is a half inch sensor but at 8K downscaled to 4K, it's definitely something worth considering. I think my school life might benefit from this greatly.
