Outstanding tutorial. Saved me from being a horrible guest. Electricity failed, pitch black, stumbled over a rug, bashed into toilet, knocked seat cattywampus, felt like a dufus, not wanting to face my host and say I broke your toilet seat, I came to RU-vid and found your video. Thank you, thank you, thank you. They're not home yet and will never know. I am now sold on Bemis toilet seats.

Thank you sooooo much for this! We picked up this toilet seat a few months ago I was an idiot and opened it to only get the instructions out. I ended up misplacing them and I was cracking my head on how to install it. It doesn't help that Bemis has 4 dozen attachment methods. Yours was the best video instructions I found. I wish I could 👍 12 times. I found it's much easier to use a 1/2" deep socket and rachet.

This was really helpful! Thank you so much! We just moved into an apartment with Bemis seats in both bathrooms that are very thin and very sloped- so uncomfortable and they slide around so much! These are so much sturdier and more comfortable! Installation was easy despite the fact I did have a wrench (in a box somewhere!) only a channel lock pliers. Still made it work!

I recently bought this seat and it looks aesthetically pleasing, very clean looking and easy to keep clean too. Def was the best seat for its price range at Home Depot. I also have a Bidet under my seat and I did not have to use any of the adjustments, the seat lays flat on the porcelain.

great humor :) ... my problem with this seat is the left nut won't hand tighten up to the top, there's a big gap so the seat slides. the right side tightens all the way up though. so I'm struggling with that.

Would have liked to see the break off of the end nut when tightening below.

I have a Bemis that old homeowner left. Totally ridiculously overly complicated Install and removal. What happened to just putting screws in holes and tighten?

Am I the only person wondering how to remove the long parts of the nuts after that part snaps off?

My Bemis slow close, lift to clean seat, had a piece fall out of the hinge. The bolt caps do not twist off . So, since i cannot see any way to fix or reinstall the piece from hinge, the only way to get the thing off is to unbolt it from below. Would never buy one

Soft Cloe does not last. Mine lost it in 3 months and you cannot fix it. I guess that is how Bemis gets you to purchase more of them.

Bemis is NOT made in USA. Even their boxes read "Proudly designed and assembled in the USA". The parts are made elsewhere. Assembly is practically naught.

I liked it at first but didnt last the slow close started to fail after research I found you can not repair a Bemis but there are other brands that can be repaired so spend a few extra bucks and get one thats repairable

Stops working after few month, and you cant repair it, so just becomes another piece of trash.

NEVER BUY THIS : I like a clean toilet too , but honestly had NO idea that prior to sitting on this slow close elongated toilet seat they marketed as "Push N Clean " (which I overlooked or missed ) that each and every time you will need to raise the lid AND the seat together , and push down as a "feature " of this is easy seaat removal . So if you don't do that you can sit and then have the seat drop to the position it should be in, or easily come off and need to be put back , simply in daily use , not with purposeful cleaning. As if most people remove the seat entirely to clean it . Worst idea ever . And not cheap $ 42 at home depot prior to tax. Waste of money and so much agita. I tell everyone I can so they can avoid mistakenly thinking this is a functional seat .
