how do i check which chipset my box is running ? it shows wifi card as 8189ES ,im guessing its the s905x but im not sure. any help ? I tried flashing aidan rom for s905x but once i plug in sd card and reboot with pin,it doesnt do anything.if i try the same with a usb drive it goes to stock recovery and doesnt install the os

I'm confused about tx3 mini, there is tx3 mini-A, mini-h, mini L. Mine have tx3 mini-h, and apparently it same as mini L, have same S950W chip. Will it working with that firmware? If i bricked the box, can i flash it with male to male usb?

I don't understand what for you need a PIN. When i install ATV 9 from daivietpda i don't need a PIN and the VFD works normally.

I did everything according to the instructions and during the installation the androdi logo will appear with a cross and the installation will stop. What now? The card was formatted correctly .... the correct version ....

There should be no android logo during installation. Did you pass Updating part correctly?

I've got a trongle x4 and as long as I get the s905x rom put on an sd card in the way of the other video showing how you prepared it, then this should boot right

I have tried 2 different S905W boxes and had no problems. But I have never tried with a S905X tv box to flash atvxperience. It should work but you have to take the risk to brick your device and cross your fingers. Good luck.

How to unbrick? process was taking far too long, so i was going to try again and powered off now cant get back to updating... also my updater screen was the green android with a red X

you should not interrupt the update process. it may be hard bricked. I don't know how to unbrick. No. You can't install atv xperience with upgrade function. You don't need to install with pc. Please watch the video again to understand how to install with sd card.

IR remote is working. But clock display does not work initially. You should flash a patch for clock display. But after flashing, clock display shows the clock upside down :)

It should work on all S905W chipset tv boxes. But I haven't tried it at TX3 Max model. On the other hand entering burning mode method might be different on each device.

@@puneet0129 I don't have TX3 max. I have TX3 mini and mini does not have bluetooth. So I can't give you any feedback about that. There is a patch for clock display of TX3 mini. I applied this patch to my TX3 mini and clock display worked (but works strangely, it displays clock downward) but I don't know if it will work for TX3 max too.

@@milancesaveljic8766 I don't know what board is inside TX3 mini but as far as I understand from google search: T95 S1 and TX3 mini are very similar devices. Probably they are identical.

Sir I am already on atvx4 the problem is my pc doesn't detect the box on this version. Hard reset button also not working in atvx4 I tried via sd card too but around 80 or 90% box reboot and the same os

This is why I am still using v2FF version of atvx. I heard that v4 is disabling firmware update mode. As far as I know you may not be able to install any other OS to your tv box. You may try to ask to atvx4 forums how to enable firmware upgrade mode.

I never heard of S912 version of TX3 mini. Anyway, what happened? Did you flash atv xperience ROM to your TX3 mini? If yes, did you flash S912 version of atv xperience?

@@wahidshahen6197 atv xperience is pre-rooted and if I remember correctly it is pre-flashed TWRP also. I am not sure but maybe your S912 is fake and it is really based on S905W and you flashed wrong firmware to your tvbox. If this is true, you may re-flash S905W version might fix the problem. But if it is really S912, than this could be worse than current situation. You need to be %100 sure if it is S912 or S905W. Did you buy from a good and trusted store?

No. You need SD card for this method. But there is another method, which you need a special USB cable.

@@edwinpiscoya2336 There is a clock patch for TX3 Mini but I don't know if it is working for TX3 Max. About remote controller, I guess Max's remote controller is different than Mini's. Because for Mini, it is working without any modification.
