INSTALLATION TIP: Spray inside of holder with SILICONE lubricant of choice as well as the bumper stop itself and installation will be a lot easier! Rubber mallet helps a lot too and saves time.
You can typically get quite a few years out of them....if you off road a lot it will last significantly less because they will be constantly hit. They soften up over time and become flaky.
They weren’t even there! Easy! But if I had to remove them, I’d probably be pretty easy to grab them with pliers and pull them out. Either that or pry with a screwdriver.
Probably did. Look for a pocket above the front axle. Look in the same area as in this video. You’ll probably find it. It would probably make it easier to buy the bump stops first, then look. It would be like playing with the wooden blocks when you were 3 years old! Hmmmmm, where does this thing fit?
Not too sure. Mine are still good, although it’s been less than a year. I would imagine though that longevity would be based on the amount of abuse they endure. For example, if you have good shocks, good roads, and moderate temperature, they would last a lot longer than if your shocks are busted, driving on trials/crappy roads, in extreme temperatures.
