Would be good to have the good guys at prospeed fab you a bracket that spans two bars to better distribute the weight. 5 gallons is 40 pounds of fuel on one bar
My buddy has a 4g one and it's a pain to have to carry it while pooring into the tank. That's why I went with 2-2g ones. Doing a install on it with the #prospeed mounting plate soon!
@@sillysal7073 IMO, It depends on how you have to get the tank/s off of your vehicle. I had 2-2gallon tanks mounted onto my roof rack. When I went to lift them off, they would sag in the middle making it small pain to slide up and off. I upgraded to the 4 gallon tank. It also saves me a few minutes from detaching and attaching the two tanks together. Minor issues, I just thought I'd share my experience with both. Safe Travels.
