Nice Video, However I was told that with this upgrade screen, there is compatibility issue, in the Service History, the previous maintenance done on the car could not be seen or not complete. Is that true? Is there a work around on this issue?
This question is very good! Because PEMP products only replace the display screen of the original car. All the original information can be displayed on the PEMP Android screen. such as maintenance information. You can learn about it by referring to the following video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7rA3vvLMZhw.html
My screen is not working. In addition to LVDS cable I also have another wire connected to my original CIC screen. I’m unsure what to do with this additional connection as I do not see any instructions in the installation guide for this. Where should the additional cable be connected? (2011 bmw 528i for reference
I believe the other wire you're talking about that connects to the OEM display is the power wire, which doesn't need to be connected anywhere after installing the android screen (which is already getting power). Please check your ISO harness connections to make sure they are working. If you still can't get it to work, please send your purchase order number with the issue to our after sales service team email at service@pempcar.com
@@edgarmartinez2000 I was able to correct the issue with my screen. I did not correctly attach all the cables to the PEMP screen when I initally installed, that is the reason my screen did not work. The extra cable I was referring to in my initial post does not need to be plugged in and can be left hanging. The problem I had with the sound is because I had to connect the PEMP system to the AUX is the center console then select the PEMP setting to play OEM. Hope this helps
I have CIC. Do I need to route the AUX Cable from the new Android Navi to the original AUX Output of the car or is this not needed as described in the video?
Hello i instal same product but i have no conection to cars oem menu. My friend told me that optic is no conection how can i solve the problem f10 2012 520d with cic system. Thanks
Please check your OEM display, whether the lvds is a 4PIN interface or a 6PIN(4+2) interface, if it is a 6PIN interface, you need to use NBT to install it, otherwise the original car information cannot be displayed on the Android screen.
Hello,Sir, now i will reply your question: 1.I want to see how you got the sound to work. Reply:Some cars need to use audio wire (in our box) to connect the AUX AUDIO OUT of Android with the AUX INPUT of the armrest box. You can view the content at 8 minutes and 20 seconds of the following video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bp7oNPbFklA.html 2. Camera connectivity. Reply:You can refer to the video below to connect ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zOgU6CJmtyU.html
Please select the correct protocol in the factory settings. If your car is NBT, please select NBT. If it is CIC, please select the CIC protocol in the settings. If it still cannot be solved, please send the order number to our after-sales service team at service@pempcar.com
You don't have to worry, you first check whether the fiber optic cable is switched. At the second minute and 30 seconds of the video, there is a process of converting the fiber optic cable. You refer to the video for transfer. If the error still occurs after the transfer, you can restore the original car state. After the fault disappears, disconnect the power supply of the car and install it again.
Would be good screen if the sound would not.go through aux, sound quality is terible. would buy it of only it be a screen without android functions as it looks really good.
Question? My original entire screen went out. It stated no signal, made a loud screeching sound now no longer works. Not sure if i need to replace the screen, radio, fuse or what? I saw your video & I believe if i replace it with an upgraded screen it might work. My radio isn't working or the screen. I heard the screens get hot then blow out but I am desperately trying to avoid paying BMW just for diagnoses for them to tell me i need a new one. I have a 2013 Bmw 528i. Thanks
Dear, I will answer your question now. 1. This pemp adroid screen fit your bmw 2013 528i; 2.if your original car head unit is normal but just the display is broken, you can replace this android display. 3.But if there is a problem with the oem head unit, you can't solve your problem by replacing the display. 4. How to judge the problem of the OEM display or the host? If you can hear the sound of the radio, the original main unit may not be damaged. If you can't hear anything, the fuse or head unit may be damaged. 5. I suggest that you purchase the PEMP android display only after the original car host is repaired, so as to avoid the Android display also not working because the original car host does not work.
no, 2011 528i is probably a CIC system, so not suitable for it. The following products are suitable for CIC. www.amazon.com/dp/B08YRC1GP7?ref=myi_title_dp How to distinguish NBT and CIC, you can check your OEM display LVDS , if it is 4PIN, it must be CIC system. Please refer to the 5th picture of the linked product。
What is factory password? Reply: 070305 What needs to be done to ensure that the car's original i-drive is displayed correctly? Now it is incorrectly scaled. Reply: Settings>factory settings>pass word070305>car display> pls Choose the most appropriate option. 1, 2, 3
You can refer to the 6th picture in the product link(www.amazon.com/dp/B091CXX3HL?ref=myi_title_dp), and judge according to the OEM interface and the number of LVDS PIN bits of the OEM screen. If it is 6PIN(4+2) LVDS, it must be NBT.
Please turn it to the maximum sound in the original AUX interface, touch into the Android interface, use the Android default music APP to play music, can you hear the sound? A, can not hear, please connect the Android audio cable to your armrest box AUX IN. you can refer to the following video to connect; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xLSkppSq-kM.html B, You can hear it, but there is no CarPlay sound. Please check if your phone is connected to the original car's Bluetooth. If it is, please disconnect it , only connect PEMP's Bluetooth.
You are right, the 4G antenna is only used for receiving signals after inserting the SIM card. If you do not use a SIM card, you do not need to connect the 4G antenna.
@@josefasacothelordofbeats7623 Yes, the air conditioning cooling needs to work with the engine started. Android screen it will not affect your air conditioning work. You need to check again if the connection cable behind the A/C panel is connected properly?

@@Mike335is OK, I see, this one is CIC e90, it can not change to 12.3", but it has a chance to change to 10.25 inches, just like E60(https: //www.amazon.com/dp/B08N4B323M?ref=myi_title_dp). But it is different from e60 in terms of structure and cannot be shared.
