i love the project and idea but I also wonder about your budget, the time you invest and the money cause to rebuild the whole axle assembly that way takes a lot of both. But I was not aware that there were just 70 ever built cause you had mentioned before that a few had gone to Sweden. Will be tough to get one in genuine shape as it was shipped from the factory cause most of these have been scrapped back in the days of the 2008 crisis when you got 5000€ from the government for buying a new vehicle if you would scrap a 8 year old car which you had owned for at least 5 years. And so all those in the barns and without mot went away into the scrap metal cycle. Many of these german city stromer had not made it cause no one was willing to pay 5000€ for those back in 2010 or so. And then it was not the time to upgrade or restore them due to missing batteries and what not. Yours will become an iconic survivor of this era.
