It's 10th Gen Civic Si day once more! Everything from a 27Won Intake, 27Won lower motor mount and a sweet Hondata +6 tune all put into Anthony's 2019 Honda Civic Si with only 14k miles!
We also check in with Joseph is is installing RallyArmor mudflaps on his own 2020 Civic Si

Yoo.. I just installed my 27won intake and inlet ... Thanks for the awesome videos btw .. but anyway I disconnected the battery now I have all these crazy warning lights when everything is running very well .. how would I get rid of those lights ??

Ah I did drive a bit .. like 100 miles .... I hooked up a scanner and got a code p0013

The nvh on the motor mount doesnt get better, I have the same one. Try not to floor it under 3.5k rpm to avoid wearing your clutch. And most importantly enjoy the mods!

I removed my after market mount, the vibration is unbearable in a cvt

I think he liked the RallySport ones or it was because the car didn’t have them on the lot when new so he didn’t want to pay Honda’s price for them. I’m not sure but now I’m interested to ask him lol

For the 27won intake, is it the same process to install for a non si civic hatchback sport? And do I need to reflash a tune or just install and drive?

How's the motor mounts feel? Anything worth noting?

It does have some good vibration but personally I really liked the firm feeling especially on a FWD. As another commenter pointed out, there is a break-in period for the mount so it should get a little softer. The car belongs to my friend so I’ll ask him for an update on how it has been to daily around since the install

It was shaky at first but I’d say I’ve driven 1k miles and it’s pretty smooth now 3/10 shaky

Great video , do you hear turbo noises with the intake ? And how loud is it from 1 to 10?

Normal turbo sounds I’d say about a 3 now it’s about an 8 you put a blow off valve it would be a 10 I personally like it the noise it makes now. Before I was getting 17psi now I’m getting 20psi on the stock tune. I’m not running the plus 6 psi because the hondata is being weird

Yeah it seems the trash roads I have to drive on have ruined my motor mounts maybe? Or do they just wear and tear? I'm noticing the jerking when letting off the gas. Is that really the mounts or a throttle body issue?

Hmm that’s hard to say without seeing what’s going on… being a fwd vehicle though you could try to see if the motor is rocking back and forth but it won’t work too well with a manual transmission like it does with an auto since there won’t be much of a load applied. I mean you could maybe try barely engaging the clutch enough the see if the motor has some good movement or not without stalling it, but I’m not sure I would recommend if you aren’t wanting any sort of intentional wear on the clutch

@@DevonsGarage Good reply, thank you. How's that 27Won intake, I'm thinking of doing the intake with the turbo inlet pipe. How is the sound on that intake by itself, any change?

@@techthis9568 Of course, no problem! It’s been a good setup! It does change the sound, gives more intake noise of course. As for power increase, you get a bit but like others have said, the main problem area on that car is the turbo. Some say the inlet is pointless without doing the turbo because there is so much restriction at the turbo’s inlet itself. But if you plan to upgrade the turbo sometime in the future, the inlet is 100% a no brainer as that will be needed for enough air with an upgraded turbo. My friend still hasn’t done the turbo but does plan to eventually

No I know we were giving him a hard time for it because of how much it vibrates. We basically meant it would still always have a vibration vs stock which isn’t bad but the dude in the back seat has the same car and kept saying how bad it was going to be before the install
