You should be using PTFE lines for E85 .. it will eat the rubber ones pretty quickly unless they’re rated for ethanol

All those pie cuts make me think of going to Laguna Seca for the Grand Prix. All the bikes with their gorgeous titanium exhausts, made up of roughly a gazillion precise cuts. At least, the Suzukis and Ducatis. Honda always seemed to get by with one tenth the cuts.

He bought a second Honda Fit. That means one is going to be the daily driver. He’s going to get an old Mugen-Honda V10 and make a mid-mounted hillclimb monster. Calling it now.

Then you’ll have to put it back on, or hopefully replace it with something better. A car can be daunting. But just view it like a Lego kit. The pieces go together in a certain way. You’ll start the process with something simple. Bending a piece of steel to make a brace. After the first weld, more options start popping up. And next thing you know, you’ve sunk 70,000 dollars into a Honda Civic with a full vinyl wrap of your favorite anime waifu in revealing lace lingerie.

That was a near miss with the pump. Good thing it was easily fixed and not something critical that went haywire.

You should really experiment using smaller tig wire. A lot of guys would only use "angel hair" for that small of wall thickness stuff. so .045 or .032 wire.

To fix the fraying stainless on older AN lines just use a worm drive hose clamp. Tighten it down at the cut point, cut right at the clamp edge, loosen the clamp and slide it back a millimeter or two, tighten again, slide the fitting on.

A small trick for thos dash fittings, when those line start to annoy you just put a small ziptie around the line pull it on quite hard an then push it as close to the edge as possible then, put the fitting on and push it on all the way, if done right the ziptie should be pushed down with the fitting if not simply pull it out with a needle nose pliers. Hope i helped with this tip😁

Dude love the Volvo 240. I just pulled the old engine out of my 240 and will try to clean the engine bay up. Your vid’s look so smooth now. Did you change the fps u record in?

Caleb I highly recommend getting that downpipe ceramic coated. Really helps control under bay temps.

Hey gingium!! A cool way that i do pie cuts is i wrap a flat bar of the same width as the diameter of tube and just rotate the tube until the flat bar keeps the tube from rolling. Its a perfect 180° flip every time

I'd recommend swapping the flex sensor to the return side of the lines, can cause restrictions in the fuel system on the input side. At least thats an issue I've run into on subaru's. Great video, as always though. You'll be at Adam LZ status in no time brother.

One of these days my project car will be done. Nothing crazy as far as fab goes. But a cool street/track day Civic. A 300 horsepower engine built to take 500. My main indulgence will be a Quaife sequential gearbox. And I’ll wrap it with a crazy bodykit and Itasha wrap. I want it to be as flashy as possible, but still be a sleeper. Total early 2000s ricer, but with every bit of nice stuff. Brembo or Stoptech brakes. Ohlins shocks. Welded in roll bar, but wrapped in leather to match the interior, which will be comfortable and have a big stereo.

These are great vids, keep up the great work! Watching these really makes me want to start modding my own car

Once you get the bugs sorted out and have it running PROPAH, I hope to see this on Hoonigan’s This Vs That. Maybe not against the Dahm RX7, but maybe some random Texas Mexican with a Chevy work truck. If you know anything about how Texicans use their “daily drivers”, you’ll know I put your build in the highest respect.

The fab work this man does being self taught is fuckin mint. Too bad buddy didn’t continue the 4 inch all the way to the dump valve. Doesn’t seem like much but there’s almost 3square inches of lost flow there. That could be like easy 50hp

Tip for making tighter turns with pie cuts: don't make the angle super agressive, make the thin part of the pie cut thinner, like 1-2mm. 9° on the saw which translates to 18° pies it's the limit where a 90° corner starts to looks funny. 5 pieces per 90° turn, less that that looks outrageous

When I do my an lines after I cut it I put the fitting in a 1/4" impact and run it in reverse will put it right on the hose like you wouldn't believe

I don't really like how that flex fuel sensor is set under the car. To me, GM, Ford, and Dodge place them in the engine bay for a reason. I'm guessing because of road grime and rocks since the car will be driven. A track car wouldn't care, but with a street car one good chunk off whatever hits, breaking like a wood rock, and steal anything that can fall off the back of a truck. Or if you're driving across the country, GPS is unpredictable. It could lead you to dirt roads. don't get me wrong love the fab work love the skill I love it all but it's just my spider common sense kicking off

Split exhaust housing will only really benefit if the exhaust runners are equal length going into the turbo. That’s why new wrx sounds so different, equal length headers for the twin scroll turbo

You need to change fuel line! Rubber line is no good for e85! I have seen hoses fail to many times.

You can get those blades sharpened for like have the cost of new blades.

Gonna have a bad time if you keep running with that fuel line. That rubber line is not e85 compatible. It will break up and cog everything. Make it run lean and boom there goes the motor.

That an OG 2007? I literally just traded an 05 Camry for that car. Same color. Faded as shit on mine so that will change.

I'm sorry but the 7875 isn't going to flow enough cfm to reach 1000whp. I think viren himself has said before it's good for like 820ish. At a certain point your just blowing hot air. Really needed a bigger compressor side also.
