I bought two Cold Case radiators for my chevelles. They were both a little bit wider and then the original and didn't fit in the rubber very neatly. I called him up and talked to the tech and he said that we have never ever had anybody tell us that our radiators are too wide. I said the work but if they were a little narrower they would fit perfect instead of just pretty good
I’ve been beating my head against the wall on my c3500 not cooling so I ripped everything out even the engine. Found a hd gasket tear in the exhaust port. Just a tiny tiny rip. Anywho everything stock and new snd it still ran 230. I changed out the rad cap after 5 years. It was on the old motor rad. The temperature dropped to 195 to 210.
The radiator and aluminum shroud I got for my 68 Camaro came with neither those detail instructions you mentioned, nor did it have any pre-drill holes in the shroud. Thanks for the tips.
My 85 was an original 4.3 with the th400. Back in August my radiator started leaking pretty bad so I removed it to get another. The one you removed from this truck looks like the one I removed. It was very small and no where locally has them in stock. Do you use a lot of these cold case radiators? Im just a little scared to use the alloyworks.
