This is a tutorial on installing a double-cylinder deadbolt with a two-inch backset for doors made by Atrium, Morgan, and other companies.

Not all double-cylinder deadbolts are configured in this way--many have different cylinder tailpieces that may require a different installation process.
Please note: This was installed on a sample door piece. The doorknob hole is bigger than it typically would be if you were installing this deadbolt in your home. Similarly, the screws that are included with this lock are breakable, so you can break them off if your door is less thick. We did not want to ruin the product and left the screws the long length, hence the deadbolt is not 100% secure.
